It's clearly stated in the record. The FK group approached the investigators. The investigators acted on probable cause. Anyone suggesting that law enforcement involved in an investigation to unearth something must prove their innocence in a court of law, when nothing is unearthed, is misguided. Innocence from what? The current court case has nothing to do with innocence or guilt of anything, it is a lawsuit over a freedom of information request for records.
Yes I was aware of how the F.B.I. became involved in a dig.
It took some degree of convincing.
I don't speak for them but doubt they are overly proud of the decision to dig.
F.O.I. argument in my non treasure digging case concerning a case of mine resulted in such heavily redacted data it was pretty much worthless.
I expect no less in this case.
Blacked out word followed by , was seen in earth. The plaintiffs would lose their minds.
Or the word gold and everything else blacked out. Oh yes. That would have to mean the agency absconded with tons and tons and tons!
So why the insistence that an F.O.I. dump of data is going to do anything to prove the F.B.I. ran off with tons of gold?
I don't grasp how a heavy armored vehicle didn't sink out of sight there!
Was it on tracks? Two foot wide tires?
No and no.
Where would a truck be loaded in secret then? Two guys with arms bigger than there legs or something? Plus twenty more to push the truck out of the sand?
Gee I'll bet there's all kinds of pictures from the witnesses that declared overloaded truck?
If there isn't one what does that mean?
What if someone wanted a bunch of decorative rock at headquarters after the digging turned up no gold and had an empty truck on hand?
Oh boy what a scandal!
