you got something to say just say it dude.

I believe the government should pay doctors a decent salary...
80% of us are below poverty level...yet we pay the highest taxes...
I posted a piece on how usda is paying millions to dead farmers...
perhaps an overhaul of the entire government system will show how much money is wasted, or diverted to already filthy rich undeserving people...
this money can then be used on the infrastructure or health care...it is not socialism when the majority are suffering...just a solution to the technological society we have created...

So are you for or against obamacare? Even the idiots who voted it in( without reading it) agree that it is a "train wreck". I really don't care to debate, I am just trying to fight this monstrosity any way I can. If that makes me stupid, as you have indicated, then so be it.

So secret, since I am not here to debate, you are the latest addition to my ignore list. Because I really don't give damn what you think.

I am lower middle class and I am still against taking from or taxing the rich with higher tax rates simply because they make more than I do.

The government does not belong in the healthcare business, that is not their function.

It is also not my responsibility to provide for, fund, support, or subsidize health care or living expenses for people who made poor life choices...

When people choose to drop out of school, not learn a trade or a profession, have multiple babies from multiple fathers or mothers none of whom they marry those are life choices and your not entitled to or get a free " do over."

I'm against do overs as well. However, somebody has to pay for the healthcare of the indigent or we change the law and they die on the street. I don't look forward to stepping over rotting bodies on the way into the hospital. Also, I am for tax stratification. I think people who make more money should payer a higher tax percentage. 10000 dollars means a lot more to somebody making 50000 dollars a year then somebody making 500000. With great power comes great responsibility. If we are not our brother's keep then let us at least not be his executioner. The government must take over the burden of healthcare for the uninsured. It is not fair to allow hospitals and doctors to continue to shoulder the burden.

may the baby Jesus shut your mouth and open your mind.

Capt. Beefheart.

the government belongs in the business of making all citizens able to at least have a life. It is not there to subsidize corporations.

Exactly how much did JPMorgan make in order to only pay a $4l0 MIllion dollar fine? Exactly how much did JPMorgan pay in "income taxes" the past 5 years?

Have you ever wondered where the money is going to come from when the working class is making $22.00 a day, when the working class is the largest amount of taxpayers in the
U.S. of A.?

uhhh,, just had an appendectomy (appendix removed laposcoptically (?) Crispin would know what I mean. Bill was for $68,357.00, Insurance paid 63K and change. Guess who got to pay the rest? Insurance didn't even really pay that 63K and change, they wrote it down with the hospital and doctor.

Now, if YOU don't have insurance and YOU are walking down the street, minding YOUR own business and a branch falls out of a tree breaking YOUR arm or shoulder. Who is going to pay to have YOUR arm or shoulder set? Who is going to pay for YOUR xrays? Who is going to pay for YOUR problem? Do YOU think some kindly hospital will just say, "that's alright TH, we know it wasn't YOUR fault, we'll just be fine paying for YOUR problem."

Or are YOU going to go all lawyer on the tree?

You keep saying people die on the street? That is demonstrably false.
And Tax stratification is best done with a flat tax, sothat everyone suffers the same burden. I am sure a 10 % tax would make you pay more than I, But we would both contribute. And that is how you make people understand that there are taxes. Many do not pay them so they do not know the burden that they incur.

Dave it there are lots of programs and ways to get medical care if one can not pay.

Florida Legislature declares that the state and the counties must share the responsibility of assuring that adequate and affordable health care is available to all Floridians. Therefore, it is the intent of the Legislature to place the ultimate financial obligation for the out-of-county hospital care of qualified indigent patients on the county in which the indigent patient resides.

-Program Description

Florida Medicaid is the state and Federal partnership that provides health coverage for selected categories of people in Florida with low incomes. Its purpose is to improve the health of people who might otherwise go without medical care for themselves and their children.

-General Program Requirements

In order to qualify for this benefit program, you must be a resident of the state of Florida, a U.S. national, citizen, permanent resident, or legal alien, in need of health care/insurance assistance, whose financial situation would be characterized as low income or very low income. You must also be either pregnant, a parent or relative caretaker of a dependent child(ren) under age 19, blind, have a disability or a family member in your household with a disability, or be 65 years of age or older.

-Florida law contains a general requirement that nonprofit hospitals must provide charity care and care to Medicaid patients.

Again our health care system is a money making scam...... Your saying they wrote off a lot of the costs of your stay, but real question is how much was your bill padded to begin with, they wrote off what never should have been there to begin with....

I'm willing to bet the property owner that owns the land the tree is on would be liable...

who pays for that care if you are not able to? If you happen to answer, "the state government" or the "the federal government". then all your arguments against Obamacare are null. Remember the reason why the Florida state legislature turned down Medicare expansion?

Uhh, branch falling out of tree is an act of god, go sue him. Or you can hire Chad-O, better yet, ask him how it would work out.
