I was on a thread and watched (and somewhat helped) it take a turn for the worse. I was waiting for it to go away. Someone said something and I thought to myself, "Self, this is it."

Well, the moderator, who was also part of the discussion, gave his opinion on the and immediately locked the thread. Didn't erase all the comments, including his own, but left his as the final word/opinion on the now locked thread.

I thought that was interesting. Kind of like my ex-wife getting in the last word and then slamming the door.

I really got a chuckle out of it~

Part of the privileges I suppose.

well I do admit the rules spell it out. Tnet is a private entity and can do anything it wants (although it's hard to imagine the way some of them think of the Gov. you would think the Gov would shut them down if they want to grab guns) WE have the choice to go along with the rules or move on.

why do I imagine they were mad magazine covers, but inside were another kind of magazine?

There be limits. For me internet a poor forum for debate.(for me for sure).

I wonder if after Obama is out of office the fear will continue the same. Surely if a Republican gets elected then there will be no reason for such debate. Sometimes I wonder when they expect the 'big gun grab ' to happen. Obama has been in office over 4 years now and not much has happened.
