CRISPINS CRITTERS

I would like everybody to take their own personal moment for stocky...he is on the banned list.

Crispin

Maybe if the group had a different name it would be less controversial. Howsbout ... "Not Worried Club"? Club song might be "Don't Worry Be Happy". The thread heading is too long anyway, as well as having a spelling error.

Just a brief word to state a few facts about Treasurenet policies....
(and personal thoughts....)

First and foremost, Treasurenet is a "Family Oriented" TREASURE website.

The ownership is of a private nature as opposed to a governmental entity.
In other words, someone started, built and wanted to share their love of finding treasure.

As such, the owner(s) have the right to restrict behavior and posts that strays too far off topic of the original intent of the website.

I'd bet that there are thousands of websites that would encourage talk of (and arguements, name calling, etc.) concerning politics, religion, etc.

Trust me. I learned the hard way.
(Jeff the Moderator set me straight. "30 Days in the Cooler!") :notworthy: Now Jeff and I are cool. 8-)

I've got a pretty thick head, but I quickly realized that I didn't want to jeapordize my ability to be a part
of a community that I respect (and many have become personal friends)
just to state my beliefs that weren't exactly treasure-related.

I found it hard to resist the "baiting" of certain members who are no longer here,
but I perservered and everyone else should be able to, also!

Always,

My Best Wishes,

Scott

Now that I have posted my token find I have a few questions.
I do realize this site has a purpose,I assume to bring together folks who enjoy md.
Several threads deal with other issues and I wonder if TNet is biased one way or another!
If people who lean in one direction are punished exclusively then that is a problem.

Umm...

I said that I was thick headed...

What does your post mean, Squiggy?

Ain't that Rusty? Rusty Cuspidor?

Best,

Scott

Nothing deep really...Just a gesture of compliance! If that's what they want ok and then I will go on to address the REAL issue!!!!

Jeff-Gordon,

Sorry, Man. My bad. I was spacin' out.

Here ya go...

And by the way, my analysis, based upon information that is relatively brief,
I'd have to say that you're "OK."

Now,

Where do I send my bill? :tongue3:

My Best,

Scott

PS.

Notice how I attempted to raise your ire?
That was a brief ploy for analytical data....:coffee2:

I believe the owners of Treasurenet really do not care which way you lean, it's that this site isn't really about that.

So, in wisdom, if you think about it,
They "Nip it in the Bud!"

well thanks Scott. I don't know if I'm really ok, but I've found at least a couple people around her worse off than me, so I got that going for me. Which is pretty nice.

Well, I am confused...If that were the case then all the threads that don't directly address treasure in some form would be locked. .Does not make sense my friend. .

Squiggy, from my experience I would sum it up thusly. Treasure hunting finds and such are the main focus, however the owners also want to allow second amendment issues to be discussed. As long as the debate doesn't degrade into name calling or get too heated, you may say your point of view. So if you disagree with someone's view you just have to know when to stop pushing and move on.

It's always a good start to realize that there others who are in worse ways than yourself.

From that, try to think of ways that you can make even the smallest contribution to help them.

Altruism can be a strong motivator....

I'm sure that you will do fine.

Forget about how many "Friends" you have on "social media," the best friends are those
that are there to help you when you need it. 24/7. No questions asked.

I got about 2-3 myself!

Your Friend,

Scott

Bill,

We make a pretty good tag-team musically!

Have a pleasant evening!

Just remember, YOU asked for it.
Here it is.
Y'all can decide for yourself.

Me? I love the song but am burnt out on it currently....

I'm thinking something along these lines....

QUEENSRYCHE LYRICS

"Revolution Calling"

For a price I'd do about anything
Except pull the trigger
For that I'd need a pretty good cause
Then I heard of Dr. X
The man with the cure
Just watch the television
Yeah, you'll see there's something going on

Got no love for politicians
Or that crazy scene in D.C.
It's just a power mad town
But the time is ripe for changes
There's a growing feeling
That taking a chance on a new kind of vision is due

I used to trust the media
To tell me the truth, tell us the truth
But now I've seen the payoffs
Everywhere I look
Who do you trust when everyone's a crook?

Revolution calling
Revolution calling
Revolution calling you
(There's a) Revolution calling
Revolution calling
Gotta make a change
Gotta push, gotta push it on through

I'm tired of all this bullsh*$
They keep selling me on T.V.
About the communist plan
And all the shady preachers
Begging for my cash
Swiss bank accounts while giving their
Secretaries the slam

They're all in Penthouse now
Or Playboy magazine, million dollar stories to tell
I guess Warhol wasn't wrong
Fame fifteen minutes long
Everyone's using everybody, making the sale

I used to think
That only America's way, way was right
But now the holy dollar rules everybody's lives
Gotta make a million doesn't matter who dies

Revolution calling
Revolution calling
Revolution calling you
(There's a) Revolution calling
Revolution calling
Gotta make a change
Gotta push, gotta push it on through

I used to trust the media
To tell me the truth, tell us the truth
But now I've seen the payoffs
Everywhere I look
Who do you trust when everyone's a crook?

Revolution calling
Revolution calling
Revolution calling you
(There's a) Revolution calling
Revolution calling
Gotta make a change
Gotta push, gotta push it on through

gotta love alfred e newman, he always makes me smile. ( waiting for Scott to note this nugget of my youth, and add it to his notebook)

Ah!

I see that I'll have to camoflauge my intentions better...

{furiously scribbles in notebook...}

Best,

Scott

PS.

How many Mad magazines have you had taken away from you in school?

Me? About a dozen. This one teacher I had in the third grade, wait a minute!
