Smart question Backbacon...on Saturday I started a batch of American Honey Cream Ale. I look forward to sharing with all those on this thread who can make it to CO in coming months! It should be drinkable in early mid April, just about when dredging season starts. I think I can promise it will taste great after a day on the water!!

I have been brewing/fermenting Mead, Wine and Beer for almost 25 years now. "American Honey Cream Ale" does sound quite lovely, especially after a day on the water. Kayaking, detecting, fishing, enjoying some great Porters and Cream Ales is what life is all about.

I also have an Apple Cyser aging in the basement but that is a couple years away from ready to drink. That one is a mead made with apple cider instead of water, yummy if you have the patience for it!

Ya right. My recipe is based on an Obama White House home brew recipe....one of his chefs is a home brewer so they brew beer at the White House. They published the recipes for two beers last summer but of course I was too busy prospecting to brew then!!
