CRISPINS CRITTERS

I'm back from the bush and will have to hold off on posting any pictures as I forgot my camera chord at the camp. I'll be posting double the pictures next week in order to make up for this week. Made some decent finds and the weather was not too bad either.

2gf is fighting for all he's worth the fight of his life with the VA. Going to Orlando tomorrow am for results of my TBI findings or just say I'm freaking insane whatever another government entity another war....2GF .....out

Pm the results of your tests. I can interpret them for you. I'm somewhat of an expert on TBI.

I'm back from Hollywood. I had a spectacular brunch with PTC and one of her friends. Everybody kept looking at me like I was robbing the cradle. I didn't think my hair was thinning that much. Anyhow, I got one hunt in the day before for a few hours and loaded up on coins. One silver plated something (worthless.) A few knick kancks and a couple paddy whacks. I'll post a pic of them later.

Thanks to All. I am back from the VA where I have met the best doctor in the world. She told me so....she explained to me that I can get over my depression, told me get over my PTSD I'm not fighting the war anymore......told me my TBI from the helo crash and rocket blast were concussions back then there is no reason that I should be getting lost at Walmart, having migraines, get dizzy and have to sit down.....the pain in my spine (even after having surgery) was in my mind. with that said I said "ma'am have you ever served in a combat unit? Ever been shot at Ever lose a friend to friendly fire? Ever lose 12 friends in one night? Ever carry a..........you guys get the picture. I said you know nothing about me and there must be a reason you only see Vets for testing not as patients. We use words like honor, code, loyalty and patriot! I stood up and walked out. As far as I have come she set me back 10 years....idiot. And she didn't give me a copy of the testing which was the first thing I asked for, but she can cure any Vet........just ask her.........

2GF,

Crispin.....is good at what he does trust me.....Psychiatrist and medical doctor with several specialties including dealing with vets....if he says he can help you out it's true.

Probably one of the most giving people I've had the good fortune of getting to know....it's a honor to consider him as a friend.

Regards + HH

Bill

Lets just say that I know more about TBI then anybody you could have possible seen at the Orlando VA. Out of curiosity, why not go to Malcom Randall in Gainesville? They consult the shands UF Neurology doctors who are absolutely top notch. You have the right to all of your medical records. They cannot refuse you a copy. Call them, fax or request, but get your hands on them. If you had CT or MRI I want to look the CD. If you had psychometric testing I want to have copies of the actually testing...not just the reports. My OB/GYN is weak but JG is helping me out there. Either way you don't need one, lol. If you get those things then I would be happy to meet you in Orlando and review them with you. Unfortunately, I have to protect my identity at this time....

This is what I raided from Hollywood in 3.5 hours. Told PTC where to find the coin line I landed on. I suspect she will be looting there soon. It is loaded. Just couldn't get the coil over gold.

Traumatic Brain Injury.

guess I was insensitive. But I meant no offense

Hope everyone had a great weekend and
didn't forget about Daylight Savings....

Here's a fine story from about 1995 when I lived in Wichita, KS.
I was Head of Maintenance at a "Long Term Care Facility."
(A Nursing Home.)

The guy who was Head of Records and I decided to rent a house and be roommates.
Can you say, "Odd Couple?"
He was fastidious, neat and precise.
Me? Well, not so much....

Things worked out pretty good, though.
I'd cook and he'd do dishes, I kept my "slovenliness" to my bedroom
and we shared other chores like vacuuming, yard work, etc..

Well, after about 8 months, Ron went on a weeklong vacation up to somewhere in Iowa, I think....

Anyway, the day before he was due back, I called up another Friend and we moved all of the furniture out of the living room. We took down the pictures, I changed all of the locks, pulled all the shades except the living room and put a "FOR RENT" sign in the window with my other Friend's phone number.

There was no lawn furniture or anything outside to give my prank away....

When he drove up, my other Friend and I were inside and peeking out of bedroom windows...
He saw the "FOR RENT" sign and got a funny look on his face....
He peered in the living room window to an empty room,
and Friends,
That was the FIRST of words that he used in the next half hour
that I hadn't ever heard him say in 8 months!

He tried his key and then it was raining them words.
He called the phone number on the FOR RENT sign and my Friend answered, playing the part of a landlord.
(Ron really never had any dealings with the Landlord, I usually was the one to remit payments, etc.)

Ron wanted to know what the ---- was going on.
He was told that Scott said you had moved back to Iowa, he sold your stuff and moved back to Lawrence.

(I must say, Ron was courteous to my other Friend)

Ron is talking to my other Friend and walking around the house to the back.
When he tries his key, I move the curtains and grin at him.

I let him in and explained the whole thing.

I wonder if he has yet forgiven me.....
(He never got me back)

Y'all have a GREAT week!

My Best,

Scott

2GF,

I remember awhile back Crispin helped me to understand some results of some of my VA tests.
He communicated via PM, was succinct yet understandable!

And Crispin,
Thanks again, Buddy! :notworthy:

Best Wishes that all works out favorably,

Scott
