Being I'm adopted, I was able to fantasize in my childhood, that I was his secret love-child, and one day,

Hey I am boring the boys to death with a show on the Discovery about the Bikini Atoll..............who was it that posted about it a while ago Jeff Gordon I believe, anywho they just said in 12 years they exploded 23 atomic weapons in that area a Marine Biologist is in a submarine right now looking for a particular shark. There isnt much sea life and unfortunately I have to take the boys to basketball practice before they say how radioactive the sea floor is...........as a child I wanted to be a Marine Biologist, I always watched Jacques Cousteau on Wednesday nights and even was able to join the Cousteau Society.......obviously we didnt have the internet, but as a kid I couldnt wait to get my Cousteau newsletters!!!!!!!!!!!!! But Jumping off the house with garbage bags was fun and accessible at the time..........I did go to Military diving school later in life and am currently a Divemaster........I LOVE the OCEAN......

On some good news my Pops has a 30 foot Proline he said he might be taking her from Key West to the Dry Tortugas next Summer................he's my step dad. He was born in Key West, he IS a Conch! He was a commercial fisherman in the 60's until the Army got a hold of him. He did 2 tours of Vietnam, fought in the Ashau Valley and also received the Bronze Star.........I'm proud of my dad. I hope this trip comes together its 70 miles due west of Key West to a place called Ft Jefferson. Ive been there by helicopter doing counter immigration with the USCG. Google it, its a state park..........I better start saving now...........

My Wife,Son and I were in KW Aug. 2010 for two weeks,saw an awful lot too,got out to Dry Tortugas,NICE snorkel diving,especially around the pilings for the USS Maine.I love underwater,a whole new world!

I've been out to the Dry Tortugas a couple of times on my boat. Neat place. Be sure to take plenty of fuel, food and water. Nothing out there to buy.

It's a 140 NM round trip in an open fishing boat for you- so be prepared.

Here's a little bit of a story for you.

Today's beach and sand report:

Went beach hunting with Crispin today. This is what I found:



It tested out solid gold, 24 k, 23.2 ounces.

Below is what Crispin found:



Now, I'm not blaming anyone or anything, but I think he had his detector set to something funny.

So we get done hunting and he starts talking to me. And talking, and talking, over coffee and over breakfast… more talking~

I start to get this funny feeling and damn, if he wasn't working some of that Dr. VooDoo magic on my head. My glasses fell off, my voice got high and squeaky and the next thing I know he's pushing me out of the car in some alley.



So I call up my local Rastafarian sister and she prescribes the following drink to un-shrink my head:



If you are going hunting with Crispin~ DON'T find gold before he does!

Two more and my head ought to be back to it's normal melon size.
