CRISPINS CRITTERS

Was it Tex Ritter?

Well, my friend, you brought me back with another favorite. If you don't like old country, you ain't listening! Ray Price was a protege of Hank Willians, played with him, and when Hank died Ray picked up the tradition :)

Now, here's him & Willie, something to be treasured!

Ok, sorry guys, my computer fell down, it's kinda weird, when it does that.
Probably has something to do with 6 or 7 tabs open, and the overseas video connection I got going at the same time.
Sometimes, things just freeze up on me?

Don, it's been a long time since I heard that, almost made me cry, quit doing that! LOL!
Deep, I've had to start playing all my country albums backwards, LOL!
I'm trying to get BACK everything, the truck, beer, dog, fishing pole........ lol!

I'm a lot of Rock & Roll, but my roots were old country.

To date, no one compares to Patsy Cline:

So, let me get the heck outta here!!!

LOL! I always tell folks, my mom named me Patsy, cause she knew I was "Crazy"! LOL!
I have her bravado and fierce independence. Them days didn't raise many weak kneed women, imho!
At least not where I came from!

Okay, something very personal.

My father was playing lead guitar on this, alcoholism ended his career. That guitar is my Dad! Wonder where I got that old country stuff?

Here's to the generation that discovered rock n' roll, drag racing, mini-skirts, muscle cars, left Ozzie and Harriet in the dust, and changed anything that wasn't nailed down. It's a different world.
Sometimes the lights all shinning on me. Other times I can barely see. Lately it's occurred to me...What a long strange trip it's been. JG

Sometimes it took a pair, other times it felt like missing a pair

BTW I still appreciate Buffalo Springfield and play them hopefully on vinyl. Bluebird, rock n' roll woman........
I don't live in the past I am just amazed it ever happened.

Folks,

Thanks for the memories with the old tunes....

Probably one of the greatest performers to ever grace a stage....IMHO.

Elvis - Memories.

Since were playing music, I just get lost in this piano...

almost 11 pm here in indy, but it must be 5 o'clock somewhere

yup... it's 5 o'clock here.

You gotta have a chat with your computer. It shouldn't care if it's an open connection between Hong Kong or across the street... and the open tabs? If they are just sitting there doing nothing, shouldn't be a problem.

It could be that Tandy you are using. Consider an upgrade?

Deepseeker,
You hit another chord with Ray Price. I like this one with its syncopated beat: Mansion on the Hill--covered by many, including the late and great George J.:
Don..

LOL! I don't think I'll go as bonkers as your little guy in the box! LOL!
I usually have 2 youtubes up, another forum or 2, some live feed update news stuffs, Vsee,
and numerous other program thingys. I'm on a little laptop, too.
When my scheduled scans start up, it goes into turtle mode! LOL!

Don, you're bringing out some good oldies too!
