Just dropped in to say hi, and bye.....long day surveying today, and need to finish a batch of reports for the morning, and unlike AU2, I have trouble concentrating and trying to make my customers survey come out right. Noticed one thing today. usually when surveying a plot of land I am constantly looking at the timber, and its valuation.....today actually sat on a stump near a dead oak tree, and watched a downey woodpecker feed it's way up and down the trunk. Wonder what else I've missed? Oh well, just the ramblings of an old woodsman....see you all later, and will try to put together a autumn game feast for the weekend.....Gary

(it's a PA-31 Navijo for you airplane freaks, yeah I know, it needs a bath...)

Ya got pics, man, what can I say? I even sawed it with my own eyeballs! LOL!
One of my cousins was a crop-duster(AF Nam), his whole family were farmers/crop dusters and they owned an airport in SoWeGa.
Always reminded me of Howard Hewes' Hooterville Airport on Petticoat Junction!
