CRISPINS CRITTERS

"All right. We're in the bottom of the ninth,
Bases loaded, two out.

And here comes the "walk-on," Scott."

Yeah, Pat, this kid showed up at training camp this past spring with a "can do" attitude."

"Absolutely, Jim. He steps into
the batters box, a mere 160 pounds, and some would say, "An old man."

"Ah, but don't be fooled...here's the first pitch...."

I once tried out for college baseball, twenty years or so ago....
But,
That's another story from

Uncle Scott...

Thanks Scott...

Just when I wrote Gary (GMD52) a PM thanking him for defending me, and asking if I should even have posted in this forum.....

Crispin is my friend, and I came here to honor him, and only him - not anyone else here.

Scott my friend, you should not have questioned that, as you dishonor Crispin in that respect.

In this case, I will bow out and suffice in personal PM's between Crispin and myself.

That's all I need anyway as I tend to respect people by their own merits.

Enjoy what you have left in this life, and may our Lord keep watch over you and yours.

Roger

Friend,
I meant no disrespect for you and certainly not Crispin.

I encourage you to post freely, at your discretion on any current topic
that arises in this thread.

Please forgive my doubt.
It's my nature....

My Best Wishes,

Scott

HA!

Nobody wuz lookin' so I get to play this!

Enjoy!

(yes, Scott has a soft side....but don't tell anyone)

Best,

Scott

You are welcome here anytime Deepseeker. Scott did well to apologize, we don't need to be suspicious of others for no reason.

I agree with Jeff Deepseeker. .please don't let another's mistake keep you away...
That was one person speaking and there are many of us on this thread..

Thanks for the apology Scott, it takes a person of integrity to step up to an error.

Now, to clear the air on me, yes I am a conservative and do post a lot of threads related to that belief system. And sometimes I get carried away, or on a roll with that.

In being conservative I am also a man of my word + God, family, and country. Additionally I try to recognize quality people regardless of their political views - except the Californians who decided to make school toilets hetero-flexible......

A minor joke there..... Well, as Gump said, foolish is as foolish does (I think he said that, but dementia may have darkened out that portion of my brain....)

As to my role here, as stated in an earlier post, it's to support Crispin.

I will not post conspiracy theory or engage in politics here otherwise.

Roger

From the movie "True Grit", Iris Dement's very unique version of an old standard.

sounds good enough for me, you're in Deepseeker!

Roger, glad to see you here my friend, and again, it's a place to relax and have fun with no stress, or confrontations.

Scott, I'm culling 2-3 years of Food Network mags, come across this recipe idea and immediately thought of you....Thanksgiving Turkey sushi...It simply utilizes you left over turkey, dressing, and cranberry with the name of,,,"turkey maki"the roll is filled with the turkey, dressing lettuce, sprouts, cucumber, and avocado, and served with the grayy, and cranberry sauce as dips.....Gary

By George Pat, I think you have the appetizer before the dinner. And I think that should be paired with a pumpkin martini, vanilla vodka with a splash of pumpkin liqueur, ( I have found that only in the NH stores).......Gary

I was thinking that it would be fun to have some kind of contest on this thread...any thoughts on this?

Barb,

It might be fun not sure if it's ok to have it as part of the thread or elsewhere.....may have to check with the mods first though.
