Crispin is a great man, a friend of mine by mutual choice. I do pray he returns, I completely respect him. Hope he reads this, in view of the life he deals with on a daily basis, I also pray he returns.

He's taken a whole lot of flack here, He began as a Liberal, and I've been a Conservative (NOT Right Wing) for 40 years - yet he and I agree with what we have witnessed.

If this group has driven him out, then that is a mistake, a real mistake.

And to those who jump on him - there goes you in the alternate position. Respect this man, as his diet is beyond that with which you and I can deal with.

Crispin is a friend to us all, PERIOD

Crispin had some dust ups on other threads that made him decide to take a respite....this thread was his refuge along with most of the other members here....a bit of a sanctuary if you will.

Trust me with the stress he contends with at work he doesn't need any grief off hours.....I keep in touch with him on a regular basis and give him as much moral support as I can.....if/when he feels ready he'll come back to join the group.

You know, and I know you do, this is a mess we have here. We disagree so much with others, yet we do not allow them to agree with us. Yet, we have so many beliefs and needs in which we do agree. This is our country, our whole world, and the future we leave for our children.

We've grown in a world where we have been allowed to agree and disagree.

Now, this is what we have left, and none of us like it...

Why can't we all just get along for the future of what faces our kids YOU and I cannot live forever to protect them.

And I can not believe that those who profess beliefs in contradiction to ours would ever wish to leave this world of profane beliefs and servitude to a society which indentures them, to their children as well.

Now, more than ever before, our first trust must be in our children's future.

And that Gary, and all my friends and others (perhaps those who have chosen to hate me for who I am), is all we can pray to do.

I don't matter much anymore, but my children matter more than I ever did before.

Roger and I signed onto Tnet art about the same time, and have always found common ground in our thoughts, and the way we have lived our lives. This was a thread where Crispin, and all of you welcomed me, and I have grown to depend on the friendships that have been formed. I don't join, or commit to many, if any organizations, and have found that I'm comfortable here, and not under the eye of people " researching " me, or what I post, if in fact that's the case, perhaps there are other places to hang out. Scott, this is a very old thread in which I've only ventured a few times.

But in PM's between Crispin and I, and what I have witnessed on these many forums...

I found it about time that I came out to speak about him - a man who befriended me as much as I befriended him.

If you dig through enough of those posts of mine, you will find he respected me.

I personally found that as a great compliment, a great compliment which I completely and truly appreciated.

I am NOT ALL right wing, I look at both sides - yet I do disagree with most who suggest the destruction of our Constitution and Bill of Rights.

Just when I wrote Gary (GMD52) a PM thanking him for defending me, and asking if I should even have posted in this forum.....

Crispin is my friend, and I came here to honor him, and only him - not anyone else here.

Scott my friend, you should not have questioned that, as you dishonor Crispin in that respect.

In this case, I will bow out and suffice in personal PM's between Crispin and myself.

That's all I need anyway as I tend to respect people by their own merits.

Enjoy what you have left in this life, and may our Lord keep watch over you and yours.
