Congrats to FFARL on his appointment as Director of Acquisitions! I don't know how we survived so long without one...what a relief. Anybody else looking for a job? The government is not getting anything accomplished so we might was well start handing them out.

Mostly hot and humid with mix of sun and cloud and a bit of scattered rain....Montreal summers will sap your strength in no time hunting......I tend to hit the shaded areas under trees as much as possible...

Yay Me! I've never officially held office before. What an honor.

In honor of our new Dir. of Acquisitions, I propose a toast, " may you find happiness within our ranks, and not have any of us barred" I lift my tumbler of mint iced tea to you and everyone else on this hot and humid day here on Lake Champlain.

Tonight's simple menu is designed to clear out some left overs: Mixing chopped zucchini, yellow squash, red and green pepper, red onion, mushrooms, and bulk sweet Italian sausage. sautee in deep pan or wok, add hot pepper flakes, garlic, and fresh oregano, and green onion from the waterlogged garden.
add your favorite marinara sauce to the veggies, make some med. pasta shells, mix together and have a great evening........Gary

By the way, the sausage was some of my homemade venison sausage made with the last remaining stew meat from last years supply of meat. I'll post some recipes for homemade sausage soon. It's actually and tasty..........Gary

Yeah it would be neat if you posted up some sausage recipes....my neighbor who's born in Poland makes and smokes his own kebassa sausages and they're great....he caught me on my morning walk several years ago and called my over.....picture this it's like 8:30am on a Saturday morning....only thing on my stomach was some coffee and toast....

He puts a bottle of Polish vodka on the picnic table and two shot glasses.....I got home about noon 3 sheets to the wind....lol.
