I have no problems with immigrants; Illegal, yeah, there's a problem.

Not wanting to get "political,"
The illegals are skewing the voting process in the Democrat's favor.
Also, the illegals are sucking the benefits of education, health, etc.

Many times I've been in line at the grocery store,
with my purchase of ramen, and illegals have a card to purchase meat and more!

and they don't even TRY to speak English!

I'm just about fed up.

Nope on the started. Celebrate the legals, reason i was born here anyway.When denied a door people will try a window.
Reform needed but not likely to occur from discussion on a forum,not impossible but would wreak havoc in process.
 

Lets put the immigration issue on the backburner for a while. We have much more pleasant things to enjoy in this thread.

Do you usually check green cards of people in grocery store check out lines? Or, maybe it's just you saw someone of a different ethnicity speaking a language different than yours and then assumed they must be illegal. You would be a big hit in south Louisiana. Few people speaking English, and most of them living there 200 plus years. In addition Texas is full Hispanic families who settled here here shortly after the days of Cortez. I don't know the law where you live, but here one must have documentation in order to qualify for public assistance of any kind. Ditto for voter registration. You might consider reading what is carved on the statue of liberty from the New Colossus. Here in Texas, statisticly, over 90% of public assistance goes to Caucasian single mothers.

If you all want to air your thoughts on political charged topics, there are other threads here to do that.....Lord knows I have a reputation for stepping on others feet to express my views, but this is a place that we don't need to fight these battles.....No matter how important that they may be! Let's keep this site for the enjoyment of life, and the friendship we all are developing, even though we may never meet! Jolly Man Sing.......Gary

I think everyone here knows where I fall on this issue, so I refrained from posting. I agree we don't need this issue coming between friends. Other threads and forums for that...:beer:
