CRISPINS CRITTERS

It was easy...
Camping as a Boy Scout in the 60's, smoking grapevine and singing that song! :hello2:

Ah, youth.
So fleeting.....

Best,

Scott

couldn't help myself...

One from my youth, fairly obscure, that had a cover on their album that was worth more than the record.

captain beyond.jpg

It was a "3-D" type similar to the one by the Rolling Stones.

Lost the Capt. Beyond in a divorce (previously referenced) but still have the Rolling Stones one.

Best,

Scott

Captain Beyond w/ 3-D cover= $70-100
Rolling Stones w/3-D cover= $40-50

Crispin,

Actually I seem to remember when you were having a day or week from hell as a lot of yours are I posted up a tune to cheer you up......do you remember this one??

O yeah, that one pulled me out of the depths.

Okay gentlemen, here is one from my youth. TMBG with the lyric, "This is the dawning of the cage and aquarium. Don't wait a moment too soon. Used to be different, now we are the same. Yawn as your plane goes down in flames."

I'm sure you guys will get it...the only question is how long will it take you, lol.

Crisp

Oh, so you want "wacky, offbeat," do you?

Well, here's one from your memory....

Here's something a bit more recent...

Has anyone else ever streaked....
Umm...I mean seen someone streak?

MANY great, wacky songs by Ray Stevens!

I received an email the other day concerning my College Webpage to wit:

Hi,

Sorry to bother you, but I wanted to see if you would consider adding our site, Chegg.com, to your home page where you include AbeBooks and others under the "SOME OF MY FAVORITE LINKS" category, located here: "GIT 'ER HERE"

Chegg both sells and rents textbooks, which saves students on average over $500 each year in education costs. When students aren’t voting us the number 1 textbook rental company, they’re helping us plant over 5 million trees via our Chegg for Good program!

It would be great if you could include a link to our site as well since I imagine your visitors would appreciate the opportunity to save on education while helping the environment. You can find our textbooks page here: http://www.chegg.com/textbooks/

Please let me know if you have any questions about Chegg.

Thanks!

Heather Campbell| Community Manager | Chegg.com

I hope that it might lead to reduced textbook purchase prices for the remainder of the classes that I need for my Degree....

Best,

Scott

Always sell all your books back. No matter how little they give you for them it will be better then hauling them around for ten years, never looking at them again, and then throwing them out because you can't give them away to charity.

Crispin, Buddy,

I sell a few back, but I hold many back in my library for reference.
I have used several as citable on subsequent thesis papers.

I guess I'm the true definition of a "nerd."

Also, I find past class textbooks adequate reading as a cure for insomnia.....:laughing7:

My Best,

Scott

Folks,

If you need some chuckles this skit should do it....lol....
