And, when I say that I spent time catching up with Friends on Facebook,
This is what I mean....

Just bought this lot!

Reached number 9 in 1965.

Songs that need a makeover after 50+ years?
Yeah. I know the chords....

Perhaps you have heard of John Sebastian?
"Welcome Back...."

OK, Bill.
You want Reggae?
You got it, Mon!

It took me quite awhile to feel the beat, years of study and practice, but, I can now play the island sound!
And I do on occasion to tune up my life and guitar....

So, has anyone ever heard of "Shepard's Pie?"

I'm making it right now from scratch....

I've made it several times before, using my Mom's recipe, enhanced.

One of my favorite pastimes is cooking!

"Cause, I like to eat!

But not just some BS from a can or a local fast-food joint.

I like to cook and show my skill of exquisite cuisine.

Y'all know of my past involving Kitchen Manager at a Sorority and other positions held.....
I have recipes that many would fight to know....

This is just one.....
Spices and seasonings.....

Here's a secret...
IMG_2306.JPG
2 tablespoons of this to add to the texture and flavor....
Sadly, not available in your local market.
Something not available to most....But, I have, connections. Dig?

Do you also love to cook?
Have you recipes to share?

Let's cook for our Critter Friends!

And, John Mayall will lead us into the next tune....

Bourbon is empty and I see a fresh bottle of scotch....
Time to compose a song....

"How can one drink all day,
When you're awake all night?
How can one drink all day?
When you're awake all night?

Sometimes, Friend, You will be alright."

---------------------------

I sometimes drink a bit too much....
Sometimes to forget.
Sometimes to remember....and cry....

Does anybody have any information good or bad about GMC Denali Yukon’s? I’m looking to trade in and get one. We need the room for traveling....... no real traveling in my truck. Thank you in advance

Shepard Pie.
Ready for the oven....
Cheese covering mashed potatoes...
Covering a meat and vegetable dinner.

A meal that will live in infamy!

My life has been one of learning and compassion.
I have fallen back on what I could learn: Cooking and playing my guitar.
What has kept me from suicide.
I needed a reason and have found many to live!
Can you not wait to taste my next meal?
A recipe that can win worldwide awards....Dig?

I received a comment of "that's the first time I've seen that" when recently scooping a portion of Shepard's pie on a biscuit. I was just saving space...

Hmmm... I like the idea of home-made buttermilk biscuits with my Shepard's Pie....

You, my Friend, have a place in my kitchen always!

In my life, I have been cold and hungry.
I have done most things except lie, cheat and steal.

I have eaten from dumpsters, I have eaten food that was expired,
and I have eaten things that were killed on the side of the road.
(And I have recipes....)

I gritted my teeth, held my nose and found a way to continue....

36.
Yeah, I was 36 when I became aware of my situation....

Friends, Never let circumstances deter you.
Always look toward the day when you can best ole Scotty....

For, there will certainly be a day!

Did I say, YUM?"

Hey OV are RM’s still good bikes? I know it’s an opinion. In my day I was always running against my Uncles’ and cousins Elsinore’s. Do they even use that word anymore, Elsinore?

Elsinore...I imagine that name originated from Lake Elsinore in Southern California. It’s funny, Lake Elsinore is off the 15 freeway and Perris is off the 215 freeway just north of Temecula after the 15 splits and the 215 starts. Temecula is nice as well as Murrietta. However Lake Elsinore and Perris are both disgusting dumps. I have been on Lake Elsinore seadooing back in like 1999 and the water was filthy and you were mandated to go in a circle and below a certain speed. Boring and disgusting. They always held the classic bike race in Lake Elsinore as well.

[A little background on the 1973 Honda CR250M Elsinore…..

Since just after World War II Soichiro Honda had let the world know the four-stroke engine was king, the only type of power-plant he’d ever use to power a motorcycle. But when the Japan Motorcycle Association introduced a domestic motocross championship in 1967, Honda engineers began testing two-stroke engines, getting into the game with Yamaha and Suzuki. From those works test bikes came the prototype of the CR250 tested in Japan in 1971, in California in 1972. For possibly the first time in their off-road motorcycle development, Honda did not adapt a production street bike as they had done with the SL350, though the XL250 MotorSport, a three-valve 250 single enduro bike that was part of the MX development program, came into production almost simultaneously. The CR250M Elsinore, named for the Elsinore Grand Prix in California, blew out of showrooms in 1973, especially after Gary Jones won the 1973 AMA 250 National MX Series on one. In 1974, the 125cc version appeared, sold even better and can be credited with MX expansion in America. Where almost no Hondas had been at motocross starting gates, from 1973 on they were filled with them.]

Well we have had yet another shooting......a shooting at a video game competition in Jacksonville. It’s getting to the point I don’t want my family at any public venue anymore. You know that old saying “the only way to beat a bad guy with a gun........ is a good guy with a gun” Lord help us......this crap sickens me. Stuff like this didn’t happen when I was a kid. We are a nation that has gone soft.......
