Also just sent a message to John, the other Vet that I mentor, to wit:

"John, Good to hear from you, Brother!
I have been working 12 hour days for the last 3 weeks and therefore have had to miss court.
If you need any assistance with your paperwork, let me know.
I'm still having health issues and have been to the VA and all they want to do is stick me with needles and tell me to quit smoking cigars.
And they want to stick their finger up my butt.
Oh, and they scheduled a follow-up appointment. In 3 MONTHS!
John, I'm proud of you and your accomplishments and I'm sorry that I missed your advancement
to the next level of the program announcement in the group.
I also miss standing next to you to lead the Guys in the Pledge of Allegiance at the beginning of Court.
I'm sure that you remember those times; I will NEVER forget the pride of being your Friend and Brother.
You just keep on doing what you do, showing your Family, the Court, me, and most importantly yourself, that you are a winner,
and always know that I'm only a phone call away.

And, today was very taxing at work.

I left the house at 6:15AM and stopped at Bojangles to pick up a sausage and egg biscuit for each of the guys.
When I got to work, I learned that overnight, one of the selectors had driven a Crown double jack off of a loading dock door platform!
Falling 5 feet to the parking lot.
No one was hurt, but.....

The jack deck was broken, BIG TIME, and therefore had to be "stripped down" for replacement.
About 3 grand in damages.....
CRAP!
Some of these arseholes don't give a damn about other people's property....

So, Kipp and I began the process of separating the deck from the rest of the unit.
EVERYTHING had to be removed.

4 hours later, we were done.
Now all we have to do is wait for the replacement deck to be delivered.

Then, I had a jack with a broken handle.

Sound familiar?
Yeah, I've changed about 6-7 now I guess.
I can almost do it in my sleep....
Wait...I HAVE done it in my sleep! LOL!

Found out also today that a new man was hired for our crew....
Maybe I can go back to a regular 8 hour day!

There's ALOT for me to consider of this news, mostly not good,
But, that means that I'm no longer on the bottom of the "seniority totem pole...."
One thing that I will never have to fear is MY job security.
My skill, knowledge and "easy-going" demeanor with everyone shall sustain my desirability with the company.

I took pictures of the damaged jack off the dock and the cracked/broken handle with my phone,
and hope that I successfully sent them to my PC to be able to post later....

We'll see.....

Now, forgive me as I pour a shot of Kentucky Bourbon, light a cigar and ante in a poker Tournament....
We all have our peccadillos, don't we?

AAAAARRRRRRRGGGHHHH Cant sleep.....Wish my 2 friends were here..... Mr Beam and Mr Daniels........ not really I don’t drink but I can’t sleep either!!!!!!

So I took off...... smack between 2 trees....... broke my handle bars, foot brake, gear shift, both foot pegs...... my uncle brought a chainsaw back to cut what was left of my bike from between the trees......... I let go right before impact. I flew over the handle bars and between the trees!!![emoji38][emoji22]totaled my brand new bike!

A friend of mine, the guy I test rode and crashed..his bike still has scremin' 2 strokes. An RM or two.

I routinely hang out with Johnny Walker.. and his brothers Black and Red.. Doesn't help me sleep... winds me up!!!!!!

Hey OV are RM’s still good bikes? I know it’s an opinion. In my day I was always running against my Uncles’ and cousins Elsinore’s. Do they even use that word anymore, Elsinore?
 

Yesterday morning, after selling my old toolboxes for $200, I put 2 rods and my tackle box in the back of the truck, grabbed my cooler with a 6 pack of Coca Cola and started out to Dale's.

Well, Georgia has a new law that forbids talking on the phone while driving, and I don't anyway.
So, I pulled over just down the street to call Dale and say that I was on my way.
He answered and said that he wouldn't be able to go because his medical issues had flared up.
I was saddened but said that we would schedule to go soon.

He is in some Court required classes, as is the other Vet that I mentor, John,
and it appears that they both now know that I'm both their mentor.
I never told either of them that I was a mentor for the other.
I felt that their trust of confidentiality in me was important.
However, I embraced the revelation and suggested that the next time we should plan a fishing trip, all 3 of us should go.
He agreed.
I talked with him for about 30 minutes and told him that he needs to call me when he can do a fishing trip
and I'll be sure to see if John can also come along.

So, I went back home and worked on the 5-6 worldwide coin swaps I currently am involved in.
Also was able to complete some domestic chores and do a bit of catching up with Friends on Facebook.

I think that I'll still plan on at least 10 hour days at work until I see where the new situation will go....

And, I guess I wasn't smart enough for the pictures of the jacks...
I'll try again.
