CRISPINS CRITTERS

RC,
Thanks for the chuckles...lol.

Regards + HH

Bill

A Irishman was caught in a storm walking to the pub.
Raining so hard visibility was only a few yards.
Looking with hope behind him he was relieved to see a car slowing for him.
He jumped in delighted to be out of the rain and turned to thank the driver and saw....no one!

Sitting in fright he figured the slowly moving car was haunted......
A curve loomed ahead and with fear holding him in his seat he wondered if the car would run off the road.
Just as it neared crossing out of the lane...to his horror a hand appeared and turned the wheel!

Rounding the curve ,the lights of the pub could be seen.
Mustering all his strength the man jumped from the vehicle and raced to the pub.

Inside he told of his haunted experience to the patrons astonishment. His crying assuring them he was ..sober, and telling the truth.

Then two rain soaked men came in and one of them , upon spotting the man said, " look Paddy; there's the s.o.b. that hopped in the car when we were pushing it!"

His mom showed up, with another man...... why do women do that? Can't show up to spend time with your child always have to have a man with them. Disgusts me....... We won 1-0. He plays goal keeper. They had a free kick at the end of the game and he blocked it!!!!!! Anyway, Scott nice piece. I wish I was up there to shoot with you guys. My nephew lives in Virginia he's 16. Text me last night. He bought a Savage 6.5!!!! Sweeeeeet

2GF,

I'm sure that you kept calm and didn't say anything disparaging about the experience that the child would remember years later.

Children can be very observant....

Years later, when they remember their youth, it will become apparent to them who was the adult in the room.

Always be the adult in the room.

Always my Best Wishes, Brother!

Scott

It's alive and well, but it will not load my game, only wants to view old soap operas. They must have sent a female power supply.

Well, I've cleaned up the newest batch of old coins a bit.

IMG_1915.JPG

Now, all I have to do is ID them.

Y'all have any ideas?

The guy that I bought them from will help me.

They look like from the late 1500's to the 1600's from Spain.

Best,

Scott

Johnny,

I've lived similar situations.

All that I can say is that I never went to jail by turning and walking away.
And nobody was killed.

I still miss the guitar that I lost.....
My Gibson with dual Humbuckers....Shoot me?
Never again!
(I STILL have bullet fragments to remind me....)

But, I walked away, a Free man then.
Another reason that I always sleep with one eye open.:coffee2:

Be well, Brother.

"Yeah, I got something on my mind."

This video clip.

Enjoy!

Yeah, tomorrow is now today.

After shooting, chores are now required.

Bare trees signal the change in my responsibilities.

The mower is retired for the season.

The gutters need to be cleaned, the yard needs to be cleared of leaves and debris.

The season grows late and I see bare trees....

Are you prepared for what's next?

Scott

Once, I thought that I was prepared.

A kid, doing donuts in the Walmart parking lot.
Not a care in the world.

But, as an adult, there is snow to shovel, vehicle windshiield ice to scrape, slips, falls, fractures.

Screw winter!

I'm going south!

Scott

"Bare Trees"

Bare trees, grey light
Oh yeah it was a cold night
Bare trees, grey light
I was alone in the cold of a winters day
You were alone and so snug in your bed
I was alone in the cold of a winters day
You were alone and so snug in your bed
Bah do dah, do dah da do da do
Bah do dah, do dah da do da do
Bah do dah, do dah da do da do
Bah do dah, do dah da do da do
Bare trees, grey light
Oh yeah it was a cold night
Bare trees, grey light
I was alone in the cold of a winters day
You were alone and so snug in your bed
I was alone in the cold of a winters day
You were alone and so snug in your bed

They are hot!

Habenero hot!

I love hot!

A strong man that I am, yet I fear enrolling this Spring Semester towards a Bachelor's
Degree in Social Service.
My fear is not that I'll be accepted,
but rather that I'll not succeed.
I have much on my plate at present and let's not forget my age.

I will seek an opportunity to continue my Collegiate advancement and academic potential including Scholarships,
regardless of what others may think.
Cognizant that only I am in control of my Future...
What I do is for my fellow Vets....
No matter the cost. No matter the pain.
This is why I do it....
'Cause we are there for each other.

NO one is ever left behind...

Johnny,
Sweet! I'd like to go shooting with you, Brother!
I'll police the brass....

I just bought 2 more clips online.

We can never be caught sleeping on CQ, right?

Scott

I also got a holster that is ambidextrous.
Really doesn't matter 'cause I am equally proficient with either hand...

I also got a rig that includes a leg holster. And a holder for two extra clips.
Military issue style.

Pictures later. Maybe...

"Back in the day."
My CQ side arm weapon was a 1911 Colt .45.

1911_217289b_IMG_9759.jpg

I know this weapon. Can disassemble and re assemble while blind folded.
In seconds....
All parts are interchangeable with other same weapons....
My, how have times have changed....

Boss wants me to come in on Monday and Tuesday at 8 am.

Said that I can work as long as I want.

A couple of 12 hour days?

Yeah.
Told the boss, "I'm here if you need me."

I already have 10 hours overtime on this paycheck!
Each hour of overtime is around $25.

I'll take all that I can get!

More money to find a wheel!

Scott
