CRISPINS CRITTERS

It turned out that Friday night's ammonia leak wasn't a leak....it was 4 leaks!

An outside contractor from Atlanta had been working on the system during the day and it took until later when the leaks became apparent.

The Boss ended up staying until about 1:30 am until a guy showed up to repair it. By about 3:00 am, it was repaired.

Boss couldn't thank me enough on Monday for being there and performing in a responsible manner.
I smiled, said, "that's why you hired me," and went about replacing another riser on a jack.

I have a feeling that my 90 day evaluation will go pretty well....

Y'all be good!

Best,

Scott

Do any of my fellow Vet's remember the "signal" for a "chemical attack?"

When one grows older, the days seem shorter....

Soon, Fall will become Winter and the daylight wanes more every day.

Surveying the lawn,
I see that it is time to retire the mower for another year and begin the chore of leaf management.

Before long, children will run from house to house in costumes, shouting, "Trick or Treat!"

Then, Thanksgiving will be on everyone's mind.
Time to spend with Family and Friends, a bountiful meal and of course, being Thankful.

Suddenly, the sound of the tinkling of a bell outside of your local stores, imploring donations,
make you realize that Christmas is nigh.

Forget about the commercialization.
The season is about Mankind, Humanity and Our Savior.
Enjoy the season accordingly....

But, I'm getting ahead of myself, aren't I?

Friends, enjoy every day as a gift from our Creator!

My Best Wishes,

Scott

I see that it is late once again...
And I have to work tomorrow,
So I will have a hot shower, unwrap a candy bar, open the book I'm reading to enjoy a chapter or two,
and say that I've had a good day, before I turn out the light....

Hope all had a good day also!

Best,

Scott

I'll ask John again about Veteran's Day meal with me at the Golden Corral and tonight I made mango/habenero chicken wings with peach cobbler as dessert for lunch tomorrow for me and Tristan.
I love that kid as my Brother....

He asked me today about Military service because he's thinking about joining.

I told him that I'd be glad to discuss it with him....

More later.

OK.
One more poker tourney.
$400,000 entry.....
Winner gets 3 mil.

Probably won't do well, but....you can't win it if you ain't in it!

Scott

Ah! Finished 10th of 90.
Just short of the prize pool.

Next time?

Where's my candy bar?

Best,

Scott

Following up on an idea,
I just sent this message to the Vet Rep of the GA. Dept. of Labor, to wit:

Stephen,
An idea that I'm considering is a possible opportunity for Congressman Collins to visit Performance Food Service, where I work, to showcase the Veterans that they employ. Perhaps this will be of benefit to Veteran job seekers and showcase the potential of employment to fellow vets who are qualified for employment.

If you feel that we can proceed upon this idea, let me know so that I can present this idea to the people at Performance Food Services who would be likely to follow through with a meeting with Congressman Collins.

I have met with Congressman Collins before concerning Veterans issues and feel that such an endeavor would be beneficial to our fellow Vets.

Awaiting your ideas, I respectfully remain,
Your Friend.
Scott Xxxxxx

Best,

Scott

"Doesn't Scotty EVER sleep?"
"Not when he thinks of his Vet Brothers and Sisters!"

Tomorrow, before work, I'll visit the Director of Human Resources and have a discussion of my idea.
We'll see where that goes.....
Little ole Scotty loves meetings with the "higher ups"
'Cause he ain't afraid of anything. Even rejection.

Dig?

I best get an hour or two sleep now.

Goodnight, Friends.

Folks,
If you want to try something a bit adventurous here's a recipe for cured salmon using beets among other things to do the cure.
We also do gravlox which is similar and to be on the safe side we slice it up in individual portions and freeze it before serving just in case we mess up....lol.

Joke of the day-- Sidney went to a career counselor to determine what field he should enter. After extensive testing, the counselor finally gave him the results.

"Well, Sid, you are a sadistic psychopath who enjoys inflicting pain, misery and suffering on others.

You'd be a terrific golf course designer"

Bill: I could not see the rifle in your post so i found one for you.

TGF: All of my AR's are one of a kind, because I made them that way.

2GF,
Thanks for the chuckles.
