CRISPINS CRITTERS

Scott,
Check with the different university faciities management and services departments for Locksmith openings. It's hard to find good locksmiths. Do you have any Medeco or card access experience? Those seem to be the go to buzz words at the schools these days. Good chance you could get hired on full time and get paid to go to school instead of paying to go to school. Most schools give their employees tuition and fee waivers along with free classes or discounts. Good luck!!!!

I'm jealous that sounds like a blast!!! I've only taken the boat out once this year, which in my book is a criminal offense. Although I too am looking forward to my grandaughter and I's hunting trip, that should go a long way in making up for not getting the boat out. These are the trips that life long memories are made of!!!!!!!!!!!

I've been trying to contact the Boulder Locksmith shop that I mentioned earlier, but I only get a busy signal on the phone.

Perhaps I'll have to do a bit more recon on the employment angle, including the University.

I'll probably shoot an inquiry this weekend to the Registrar's office concerning transcripts.....
And while I'm perusing admissions to Colorado University, CU, I''ll look into employment opportunities....

I have only a little experience with
Medeco's and Card Reader Access Systems, but I'm still smart enough to learn very quickly!

Stopped at my Friend's Wine and Cheese shop after work today to collect the bottle of vino mentioned earlier.

He said, "How can I show my appreciation?"
I said, "Let's start here...."

1-IMG_1183.JPG

He then looked at me with a look of, "Is that all?"

I pulled out my wallet to purchase some cheese and he said to put my wallet away.

"I know that you like blue cheese," he said as he placed a softball size hunk on the counter.
He then asked if I liked jalapeno cheddar. Why, Yes, yes I do.

BAM!
Another hunk of cheese hits the counter.
"What else do you like," he asked.

"Got any brie or havarti?

BAM and BAM!

I was starting to feel like "That's really quite enough...."
After all, your Neice did pay me some cash, even though it was a nice discount.

I shook my Friend's hand, wished him a wonderful evening and told him to call me anytime!

No camping this weekend; Perhaps I'll get my hair cut and a couple of new work jeans instead.

Probably good to stay close to home this weekend 'cause the Landlord, THE BEST LANDLORD EVER, is off racing this Holiday weekend and I get to look after "the Girls!"

Also gonna look into sellin' a few items through contacts that I have about coins, currency, antiques and collectibles.

One more day Folks before the weekend!

Hang in there. You will make it!

Best Always,

Scott

Is this what is referred to as, "A Labor of Love?" :laughing7:

I know that you will make a healthy reward,
Not on the money spent, but the TIME and LABOR spent.

When one has so much invested, it is hard to watch her sail off for the last time, once sold.....

Wish I was there to help in the vision! :occasion14:

Best,

Always,

Scott

"So, Ole Scotty thinks he knows what's best for him does he?

"Let me tell you Folks that Scott thinks and responds for his Country, Humanity, Nature, and,
Well...He sounds like a real "Tree Hugger," don't he?
He thinks that Gubbermint is a necessary evil!

"Ain't nothin' wrong with that, far as I can see........." :laughing7:

"You certainly have my attention.
Please continue...."

Best,

Scott

And now, forgive me while I prepare my dinner, from scratch, of Salisbury steak with stuffing and mushroom gravy.
A side of spring peas, pickled cucumbers, fresh sliced tomatoes and I'm ready for a Friday!

(All on a paper plate.....)

Of course, I will not disclose the seasonings and spices used.....

(OK. Just one....Think sweet peas and a light sprinkle of celery seed....)

Best,

Scott

PS.

While it is all cooking, I'm munching on my cheese windfall!

Certainly beats Ramen like a rented mule!

And,
To complete the evening....

Remember of the talk of peach milkshakes?

YEP!

Scott

Friends I am sitting across the table at Turtle Kraals( one of my favorite restaurants in Key West Harbor) with my dive buddy, enjoying a piece of Key Lime pie!!!!!! Just the two of us...... My wife was to tired to join us! Tomorrow we are going sailing and fishing on a wreck. I just might do some snorkeling too....... Something bad must be around the corner nothing this good happens to me. We are enjoying each moment!!!!!!!

So, I have this "new to me" bottle of Portuguese port from Taylor and Fladgate.

1-IMG_1183.JPG
Never had this before....:icon_scratch:

I'm saving it for my next trip into the mountains.

What would be a good campfire meal to enjoy the Port, the ambience and yet easy to prepare? :dontknow:
(Or pre-prepare?)

Ideas, anyone? Please....

I have very little experience with wine in a bottle as opposed to a box....
Especially a bottle with a cork and not a "screw-off" top." :tongue3:

Hope all have a Safe and Leisure Labor Day Holiday!

Best,

Scott

While getting my hair cut this morning, I was talking with my specialist, Rhonda,

https://www.facebook.com/LangstonsSalon/

And I thought of a new opportunity of legislation to help Vets....

Free or discounted License fees for Vets for fishing and hunting!

Certainly, you know that I'm on this! But, this would be on a Congressional level, I caution...Might take years....
Where's my direct email to my Congressman, Doug Collins?

Best,

Scott
