🥇 BANNER Clay Pot with Coins Inside!!!!!

Back to my pals old property and found had a signal close to this pot.
I had previously picked up lots of surface bottle finds so moved this out of the way to use the pinpointer - but the signal had gone

Looked inside and saw what turned out to be coins!!!!

Will try to clean these up a bit, the soil was packed quite hard inside.

Picture below show the pot (outside and inside) and the coins as found!

Damn guy that's just too much....!!!!!!! Congrats and another great find. If I ever start digging up old rusty irons at least I know now what's coming next. Get over here and help me with that Golden Horseshoe I'm looking for. Franks search was a bust (it was a bust... right, Frank?)

Great job...can't wait to see em all cleaned up AND to see what else you found in your "does coral beep" posts!

BVI... Sorry, I know that I should have voted Banner before now but I was holding out to see new pics of the coins after some clean up! However, since we at least now know that you found at least 3 Spanish Maravedis minted sometime in the 1730's, I am voting Banner and hope everyone else will do so as well. This is a fantastic cache find that could possibly lead to more Spanish coins that were in the clay pot before it broke or other caches on your friend's property.

If this find receives a Banner which it should, the pic showing all 5 coins should probably be used as the Banner pic unless you post another one. If I see them clearly, there is a 1721, a 1736, a 1758, a 1786 and a 1789. Now get back out there and find the rest which are hopefully somewhere near where you found the clay pot or around the foundation you found.

Dang, you Brits find all of the good old stuff and to make it worse, you don't even live on the big Isle of Britain any longer! By the time you get done, they will have to rename the British Virgin Isles as they will no longer be virgin.
