✅ SOLVED Eagle embossed fragment 1860s

Fragment from site with relics to 1860s, I was thinking possibly powder flask, but the eagle seems pretty small. Found seated coins and a 1860 fatty indian there. Union troops were posted near here.

Thinnest of the metal I would have to agree with you ! Segment of a powder flask.

Agree powder flask. Notice the lines/hash marks above the wing, similar to this one below.

Google Civil War era powder flask and you'll find more with the hash marks with different eagle styles. Some of the eagles are low on the flask body and some up by the neck of flask.

No idea on a date range, but it appears to be Red Glazed Turkish Sultan motif pipe.
