Gentlemen: Have you forgotten that the Philippines were hit by a terrific Typhoon at that period? Many areas are still without power or communication, etc. Our friends are probably having a few major problems, Relax.

Who of us that have done some extreme looking haven't been thwarted by mother nature from time to time?

Guys,

Typhoons and treasure hunting don't really mix at all. Like oil and water. It's the rainy season here right now and most of the projects are on hold until the dry season comes. ANd that usually begins around November and lasts til May.

So most of us are back to our regular, adventure-dry jobs.

Yeah, its correct, some are posting in other forums, and Ithink it's a not big deal... Anyway it is only a legend. And legend, if DOES NOT want to be proven, will remain to be a legend. So I suggest don't believe on legend. And believing means responding and replying to it.

Holy cow....
I Googled "gboy and Yamashi-ta" and was amazed at how many other forums come up. Some with obviously lenient moderators, if any, based on some of the things said. Yikes.

Weather has been the issue for us. True, that some have used this forum or thread to peddle projects based on 'eyewitness accounts', 'ghost stories', 'maps', etc., etc., most have remained true to form, sharing info on projects currently and previously worked on. And the info has filled the 'archives' of another, whom I presume might come out with a 'scholarly' treatise on what he insists to be a legend. Hey diff'rent strokes for diff'rent folks. But it has become 'profitable' one way or another to those who read and view this thread with eager amazement everytime.

you can post a link to it,
but I would advise against
Posting the whole thing here.

The author is devoted to the enhancement of Filipino-Japanese Friendship and dedicates this book to the Filipino and Japanese heroes, both living and dead, who saw action in the furious and bloody battle between Japan and the United States in the Philippines where half a million Japanese soldiers and Formosa Boys Died.

This is very interesting my friend. I hope his english ain't as bad as Capt. J. Kobayashi's. Oh by the way, one of the biggest sites Kobayashi showed to us is going to be worked over by a mainland construction firm, building a 'railway' for the gov't that after 2 years not one length of rail has been laid. Guess we're going to get screwed again.

Yam THr,

….due to our relentless exploration research.…I think we accidentally found something that will shock the archeological world….ANCIENT, japanese OR ALIENS PYRAMID RUINS? Its 200 feet tall…7 feet high/wide in each steps and became smaller at the summit (covered with thick vegetation)…. and carve human figure on the edge….what is this a Giant stairways or PYRAMID?…..hhmmmmm…another exciting exploration adventure? sanyway if its indeed a pyramid, SWR bestfriend Ambeth Ocampo maybe shock… hehehe and maybe this is the Phil. version of famous pyramids….like Pyramid of Egypt, Ankor Wat cambodia and Incas Peru…..

Naglaketse2 na, we are exploring for treasure and we found something unusual structures...whew... :o
Its getting exciting here... :tard:

"gas mask was standard issue to Japanese units involved in combat. Japan had used poison gas on numerous occasions during its war with China, but refrained from using gas against Allied troops in the Pacific. President Roosevelt,on June 5th, 1942, threatened retaliation if the Japanese ever used gas against any opponent. A single case of gas was reported in New Guinea late in the war, but Japanese officials denied they had ever authorized its use." from one web site....

How come then that in Cagayan Valley this type of Gas Mask was found and a sack can be filled half...the watch in the picture thats mine..
