Cents
Box 1 - 7 wheats, 15 Canadian

First box of cents ever produced some wheats and a few hole fillers for the memorials. Trying to fill this album up. I cleared out a Wells Fargo of halves, $620 worth, all marked rolls of someone's dump. Was a busy week, happy with the box having 2 90%. HH all!

Oh and even got out for a few hours with the metal detector. It was fun, even found a stainless steel ring.

Week of 2/6 for 2/12

Halves
Box 1 - order missed
$170 cwr - '64, 25 x 40%ers
$24 teller tray - skunk

Dimes
$370 cwr - '64

Quarters
$120 - skunk

One bank out of 7 I stopped at last Tuesday had $100 of cwr halves. All the previous I went to said "someone just bought them all earlier today". No one else was in line so I asked all the tellers, which one gal said the same thing, she was bought out.... But her neighbor said someone else brought in $100 this morning. I bought them and asked if they brought in anything else, $120 of quarters, so I bought those too.

The halves were great, with 1 90% and 25 40%. The quarters were solid rolls.... Of bicentennials. Roll after roll. I did keep a few very nice uncirculated ones. No 40%, that would have been awesome. HH!

I picked up $90 cwr where a teller said she'd gone through them. Dirty '67 she missed. Also picked up $120 cwr halves and found the '76s 40%er. It was also a dump with all the rolls marked and 50% of the halves marked with a S over kennedy's face. Noobs :laughing7:

HH!

Great week with finds.... Especially the bank I found which will sell me their bags!!! This is the same bank that I found the 9 solid rolls of halves about a year 1/2 ago. The bag also turned up 2 free car washes and 4 foreign.

On a detecting side note I got a permission at an estate sale... Also picked up a silver thimble and a small silver ring for $1

Week of 3/6 to 3/12

Halves
Box 1 - 5 x 40%
Box 2 - skunk... If you don't count the 18 gold plated Barack Obamas :BangHead:
$130 cwr - '68

Dimes
$290 cwr - '51, '51s, '47
Coinstar - '59d on the floor

Nickels
$68 - cwr - skunk. I did get a roll of all '64 or earlier (mostly 40s and 50s nickels). Nothing great though

Quarters
$60 cwr - skunk

The box with the gold plated Obamas was a bummer. I just kept pulling them and started to get on my nerves... Kept imagining if those were solid white rims vs gold plated. I came up with some nicknames for this box

Barak's box
Barox of Obamas
Plated presidents
What's in the baracks

Anyways, keep stacking!

Week of 3/27 to 4/2

Halves
Box 1 - skunk
Box 2 - skunk
$1000 bag - skunk. Short $6.50 - but will come out ahead with $8 in twonies. Also neat find see below
$230 cwr - '64, '68
$23 teller tray - 40% x 18 including a '70d :occasion14:

Dimes
$95 cwr - '60, '64d

Reject tray - 2 steelies, 2 common wheats and another twonie.

Before today the week was pretty bad. I made a dump at a coin machine which rejects silver so I always ask the tellers for loose halves after I cash out. The teller had $11 and $9.50 were 40%. Saved the week!

Also I came across a metal detecting find coin roll hunting. It came from the $1000 bag. I believe it was dug, looks the part. I cleaned it a bit, looks to be a hotel room key tag possibly? Room 735. If any of you have any ideas please chime in!

A single cwr with my box pick-up saved the week! That one roll had 5 x '64, the two bens and Walker, and 3 x 40%.

Weeks of 4/10 to 4/22

Halves
Box 1 skunk
Box 2 - '67
Box 3 - '53d, 5 x 40%
Box 4 - '57d, 60d, 4 x 40%
Cwr - 2 x 40%

Dimes
Box 1 - '64

Cents
Box 1 - 8 x wheats - one being a nice '46d
Box 2 - 7 wheats - very nice 1916s, 1913d, possible blank planchette

Two weeks were busy and Easter just got me behind on my post. This weeks boxes were great producing the Bens, wheats and silver dime. Last week just had 3 40% and a '67 silver Canadian quarter out of a tellers tray.

If you have any opinions on the blank planchette or the grade on the 16s it would be appreciated!
