Thanks jersey. That's ok, I'm very used to it from him and others. When a poster resorts to insults, name calling etc it is only a sign that they do not have the wherewithal to come up with an intelligent statement. I don't get mad, I actually just feel sorry.

As far as that shooting in Toms River, charges may still be facing the parents of the 4 year old. Gun was loaded and not secured in accordance with state law.

Stupid is as stupid does. The deputy was the idiot showing off a loaded gun. I knew better than that when I was 6.

There was an old country saying that we heard when I was growing up: "The Devil loads the gun." It didn't mean he literally loaded the gun (althoug as a kid we were scared it was true), it meant you better make damned sure you didn't point that gun at something or someone you didn't want to shoot.

No one here can be responsible for his error, for his stupidity. So, I'll ask the question:

Does anyone show off LOADED guns at a family gathering where children are present?
