yankee jim bound

Well for some reason Donavin decided it was worth carrying his wetsuit.. We made our hike out quickly and Donavon and my brother suited up quickly as we were all eager to start working.. anyway the day started off well and ended well As we all got on some decent gold quickly.. I meant to get a Video of the day's end results but the day was long and I got wore out and forgot..We dropped keepmehumblelord at the Colfax Ca Subway where he intends to catch his bus to go home...Just as an afterthought I do not cross rivers when the notion strikes me and I do swim in the wintertime so I have a tolerance and knowledge of what I should expect ect. ect. So please use your witts and have a Battlebuddy..

maybe Donavin will give ya our Day's End total

Nice gold there guys. Hey have you ever tried taking a raft down? Or is that even possible. I was thinking it would be a good way to get your tools and even camping gear in and out just wondering if that's too dangerous, I know there's class 4 rapids down there somewhere.

I think a capable person may but I personaly have no experiance with navigating a river in a boat or any other means other my legs,I will admitt that It has been spoken of a many times but unfortunatly I have no time to learn and practice at the moment nor could I afford all my tools and what not at the bottom..I suspect everything looks good on paper.

I wonder if one of those rafting tour companies would take you and pick you up. Probably not cheap but definitely safer and you don't have to buy an expensive raft.
But anyway, nice gold there you obviously have no need for a raft lol.

Well I appreiaciate the thoughts but believe me when I say that I do not take safety for granted and am prepared for emergencies..Better then most I suspect. And I see no fun or challenge in paying someone in something I am more then capable of doing if I put some effort in to it. And also there is two men who frequent the Yankee jims to ponderosa stretch who I have seen doining just that making multiple trips on the river getting gold a few days a week sometimes two trips a day..Though they are both men of few words and with their preferred method of prospecting I understand why.. But they are seasonal as water flow makes a big difference.

Not NFAR, but hope to make it to Bear next week. Can't wait to see what Bear has in store for us!
