Here, you, go, Dirtwisher, commas, just...for, you.

I, sound, like, William, Shatner.

Lol - what can I say, I was an American Literature major! Seriously, though, my brain can't process several lines without punctuation because it gets distracted trying to determine where the pauses are supposed to be and where two different thoughts are delineated. It just looks like the poster is more concerned with their own time than the reader's ability to get anything from it. Again, many of us don't care, so to each his/her own, but it drives me crazy.

I'm no literature major, but I do tend to be a bit of a grammar Nazi. It always came easy to me, and sometimes it's hard to be patient with reading through grammatical nightmares.

That being said, if people could see my poor math skills they'd laugh at me lol.

I've pulled several 10-11" coins with the Deus, in non-mineralized and mineralized soil. In my opinion you will pull more masked coins with the Deus, from 3-8" onwards. In clean ground once you learn the audio of the machine you can hit beyond 8" on many targets confidently.

The Deus has a non-motion mode that hits coins at 10" pretty well - I just start learning this mode when I had to sell it  due to moving expenses. But the time is fast-approaching when I get a replacement!

These aren't air tests, either...these are undisturbed targets...air test results can be found here: 11" coil v3.2 Air Test Results...then and now!

That is too broad of a statement-- Many factors affect depth. For example the Minelab is deeper in CA highly mineralized sites. I know as I have both as well and the CTX handles the ground much better and get added depth. Also IDs better at depth.

So maybe in your case the Deus is deeper--but in mine the CTX is deeper. But you can't beat the Deus on separation in the iron! The CTX holds it's own but the Deus is fast!!

That's why I have both!! :)

Even if I have both, I regularly forget my CTX 3030 @home when I'm going for land prospecting :laughing7: well tuned DEUS even with heavy mineralized sites should be "at least" match the CTX 3030
