I rountinely find the coins at 10" with my Whites...it is all depends on the coil you use...your not going to get more than 5 or 6 with the standard 950 or 5.3" but with my 10"x14" Excelerator Coil, I get the same unbelievable depth as my good buddy Ronin with his Explorer SE.

Thats amazing...I had the Whites DFX and the DD1400 10 x 14 also. Couldn't get as deep as my buddies SE in All Metal mode. I know, we tried to compare targets before we dug. I couldnt event get a blip of the screen over a 7" deep silver dime. But our soil here sucks also, thats why I had to get rid on my DFX and go with a machine designed for this type of soil.

No, not the Whites 8x14" DD1400. I use the Excelerator 10x14 DD...BIG difference...also, I dont know about a DFX but I use a MXT and it is very sensitive and deep!!!

You should have keep your first post....I was explaining that it is easy to pinpoint with the Whites machines! I agree!!! Even for those super deep coins at 5" that's signals are breaking up LOL. Try pinpointing a dime at 10+", its a little harder! :P :P :P
