Kirk-did you ever get my PM in regards to my invite? Did not hear back with you in that regards.
Grubby

Let me check....oops, my brother usually is on my name when he is at home, so he didn't tell me about it....sorry, bud. I appreciate the invite...if I find myself in CA, I will look you up and we can do some treasure hunting with our White's. It would be an honor to detect with an icon like yourself.

Yassa Boss. If you make it out I will take you to my claim and the 4000 acre ranch I patrol and have the free run of. Part of the original Fremont land grant and historic mining area. Have found some fantastic stuff there. Be a good guy and don't rile the moderators. If you check the shipwreck section you will see I am not popular with some of the members there. It does make it hard on the moderators when we cause controversy. Better to get along and bite our tongues. Just a lesson learned by this old goat for you.
Grubby

Sounds like you have an awesome spot, Gerry. I won't irritate the mods. on here. I don't understand why you are disliked on the "Shipwreck" section. Thanks for the lesson, grubby! :D

Kirk,
I've been away for a bit and just catching up on all the great posts.
Congrats on the silver my Man! Your posts are hilarious.
I was going to tell you to splurge and buy a 6/pack with with your wilver half, but it looks like you already have a 6/pack. :o ;D

That was just a joke Kirk, given all that has happened recently I just HAD to get a little dig in. Hope that is cool with you!! Besides I know BB will read this and it will get his blood boiling a little. Just a little friendly rivalry we have going. :D

Kirk-Jealousy is a green eyed monster. Seems to be a bit of a rivalry between the west coast and the east coast. Some believe that the east coast is da bomb for treasure hunting. Seems posts from the west coast are resented by a few. Most the guys are good guys though, just a few treasure snobs who think they know everything and if your not part of the group you are ignored. No biggy. People are people. I have made the mistake of stepping on some toes and paid the price for that. I am not going to say much more as when I call and ace an ace or a spade a spade it offends some people. I never realized when I joined a forum that there would be so much politics in some of the sites. There are those that scrutinize every thing you say or find. Just be happy with your hobby and post your finds for all to see, and hope it inspires others to get out and glean all the goodies from the ground or water
Grubby.

Well said Grubby.

Kirk,
Don't let the jealous MDer's get at you. I must admit, when I first joined TN I had thought, "who is this bulbous headed, sleeveless, arrogant young, punk, SOB, &#%%@%&%^&?" But once I got over that and saw what great stuff you find, I realized you truly are an inspiration for a lot of us MDer's. Keep up the great (and hilarious) posts, and good luck on your future finds. By the way, I was only kidding about the no sleeves part. ::) ;D ;D ;)
-MM-
P.S. We all know the East Coast has the best Chuck-E-Cheese tokens too. ;D

LMAO! If I was on the other end, I would also think the same of myself, but when you meet me, that thought would change. I truly just enjoy having a great time in the field. I just wish some dudes on here would get a sense of humor...some take my jokes personally....I guess everyone is different. :D

Somewhere in that story I know there was something about finding a half dollar...congrats on that newer coin!

I think you're right because I saw a picture of one, but I'm not sure either :). Reading his threads make me feel old!!!!

Funny. I would give ya kudos, but ya decked her, bud.

Still a nice find though. ;)

-Buckleboy

P.S.--When I dig my next Spanish Wilver, I'm NOT gonna deck it in your honor. No offense. ;D

Why won't you do it in my honor? LMAO! Oh, well, I will be careful in the future. The half was right near a cornstalk...very difficult to recover.

Very nice find but we may start calling you Samurai Kirk soon, isn't that 2 for 2 slicing up silver halfs recently? Maybe you should buy a Minelab Explorer SE they pinpoint better! ;D

This is my 1st deck with my XL. I had it for almost 2 years now. Minelab...no WAY! :D

WARNING: Should be considered armed and dangerous with a Whites XL, approach with extreme caution if this individual is down on one knee digging big silver!
