You guys look like you're onto something NICE! I wish I could do what you guys are doing, so I'll just imagine and live it through this thread. Hopefully the motherload is right in front of you guys, and you find it!

Congrats on some nice finds!

Two nice ones in that clump - keep 'em coming! I appreciate you posting the pics for us....

Well this was I think our 21st day on site. We got out early and started blowing holes. Jimmy Burg and Blu Stepahanos came out with Jason, Mike and myself. I decided we should try using the Aquapulses like all the pros use. Normally Jimmy and Blu are treasure magnets, but today nothing was turning up. About noon Jimmy and Blu had to leave for business reasons. Mike, Jason and I kept blowing holes and looking with the Aquapilses. Finally we were getting ready to blow our last hole and Jason said" I haven't used a detector today, let me try with the Garrett Saehunter. I said " Sure and if you find one I will admit you are a professional"
Well we were not in the hole ten minutes before Jason looked up at us smiling and holding a nice big "8". And I had left my gear bag in the car so no pictures.

JASON YOU ARE A PRO......

So far we have found treasure 17 out of 21 days. Of the four days that we did not find treasure, one was spent filming the news release, two of the days we did not get out till after three, and one day we blew holes all day long and just plain got skunked. Our coin count is up over 80, with one being gold and one being a Lima Star.

We are fortunate to have some very productive treasurefinders.

I hear the sense of healthy pride in your post, Scott. I respectfully raise my glass to you guys...

First hole Mike and Jason brought up five coins. Blowing again and getting ready to go back in.

Well I decided I had enough of everyone using a detector but me, so in the second hole I took the detector to show them how it was done. Sure enough, ten coins in the first hole, plus Mike and Jason each found one without a detector.

NJ

Seahunter, I have a beach find I believe is from a wreck that I would like to post to get some suggestions on if I need to do anything to preserve it. Do you mind if I post it on this thread since I think the people that would know would see it here?
Thanks in advance. NJ

Now that's a real nice biscuit !!

Awesome totally awesome, way to go crew!

Unfortunately I know too well about leaving the boat early only to have coins found AFTER you leave!!

My sympathy to Jimmy and Blu :'(

BIG :icon_thumright: to Jason on the gold!
