Check out website for Merco Marine ... we used some of their dock section components to build barge, floating office/houses. Had Living Room, Kitchen, Two Bedrooms and small Bathroom/shower. They have 8x10 foot sections of heavy duty galvanized steel truss docks ($750 range) , as well as components for use with wood beam trusses (4x12) up to 8 ft wide and 50ft long (one section -- can do multiple sections -- but would add under deck stringer board/beam to prevent deck flexing)
Permafloat foam filled floats $200 to $350 depending on size height foam filled -- empty ones can be used as tanks. Floats have top molded pattern that matches deck sections.
They have a 4 ft x 8 ft SIZE FLOAT THAT MAKES WORK PLATFORM EASILY from $275 (12 inches) to $475 (32 inches). Add Bumper boards and decking. Can add Jet ski dock for about $1,500.
Some interesting ideas in their catalog and on website.

When you post pictures -- Please list names in order pictured -- hard to guess who the players are; except for sea critters.
