How old is your oldest CRH find for each coin type? (Penny, nickel, dime, quarter, half dollar, dollar)
1878 Indian head penny
1904 V nickel
1907 barber dime (oldest foreign find 1900 Spanish 50 cent silver, dime sized)
1943 Washington quarter
1893 Columbian Exposition commemorative half dollar
1922 peace dollar

Well my oldest CRHing finds are still the 1878 and 1878S Morgan dollars (not sure which one of those is older lol) as I mentioned here a couple of years ago. It will be difficult for me to beat those two in terms of age. But earlier this year I found my oldest nickel that Ive ever found CRHing with some good nickel rolls I managed to get that had several buffalos as I remember. Its a full date 1913 T1 buffalo that was an ender too. I didn't get a pic of the coin in the roll but u can still see the machine ring on the face of the coin (unfortunately). I never posted it at the time but I just thought posting it here now on Buffaloboy's thread seemed appropriate.

Merry Christmas and HH!

Merry Christmas, SilverFace! That is a beauty, too bad the crimper got to it. I would love to find a pre-1920 buffalo nickel with a nice readable date without acid treating it, earlier this year I found a 1913-S raised mound buffalo nickel, mine is dateless though.
I hope 2014 brings you some older coins!!

Let me know if these qualifies - A few weeks ago I was at my dump bank and prior to me dumping, I looked into the reject tray and saw four coins - three foreign and one American coin, an 1860 Indian Head not in too good of shape. Start dumping and I look up the reject tube and there are a lot of coins stuck. Again foreign and an 1820 Large Cent in good condition.

With so many new members here, its a good time to bump this thread.

Oldest this year:
1902 IHP
1890 V Nickel
1916-S Merc in pretty nice shape
1957-D Quarter
1918 WLH (Several)
1971 IKE

1919 s Wheat x 2, from 2 boxes, one in each, from my first serious stab at CRH. I still prefer to dig mine up, but it's interesting that so many older coins are still in circulation.

Oldest cent = 1917 Wheat
Oldest Nickel = 1919 Buffalo x2

1900 barber dime
1917 walker x3
1835 German pfennig was told it's worth about 25$. Second one I found I believe the other was a 1857.

again, there is a new thread on this topic, so I am bumping this...

1882 indian
1892 v nickel
1936 merc
1946 quarter
1964 half

Updated oldest:
1867 Indian 1c
1907 Liberty 5c
1935 Mercury 10c
No Date Stand Lib 25c
1906 Barber 50c
Still no silver dollars or silver commems. :/

Cents- 1889 Indian Head
Nickels- 1892 V Nickel
Dimes- 1947d Roosevelt
Quarters- haven't found my first yet
Halves- 1967 40%er

Update: Back in January, I found an older half dollar: 1893 Columbian Exposition commemorative.

1918 Penny
1913 Buff
1944 Merc
1947-D Wash. Quarter
1965 Kennedy (Sad face, still no 90%ers)
1971 Ike (Double Sad)

Updates to my numbers here:
1907 IHC (1909 and 1909 VDB cent as well)
1908 V nickel
Early date Merc (it was at least pre-1920, the last digit was rubbed off, possibly 1918)
1947-D Washington Quarter
1964 Kennedy
1971-S Ike (Silver B.U. Ike, a "Blue Ike")

Also, if we are adding paper money into this, I've found a 1928A "funny back" $1 bill, a 1935A Hawaii $1 silver cert, numerous 1935 $1 silver certs, numerous 1928 $2 bills (red seals), and a 1928 $5 bill (red seal).
