Whats the significance of your selected profile name?

Because it happened a few times. Hated those dope house booby traps.

Talon from Talon Karrde a character from Star Wars novels.

Love your pics, Frankn, but EVERYONE would be hard pressed to duplicate some of RGINN's outdoor scenes. TTC

This is one of my favorite threads. Great idea on starting it, rock

Wilbur pirate.jpg

Named after the late, great Wilbur. :angel11:

Best first mate a pirate could ever hope for! :skullflag:

I have an old Dodge diesel pickup and it's a 1994 model. I have used this name on many forums in the past so I just stuck with it. That old truck has over 403,000 miles on it and I wouldn't trade it for anything...

Guess I'm the old coot here, 1937 was a good year for me. When I turned 17 the Korean war was winding down, and I joined the Navy on what was called a "kiddie cruise," and was discharged the day after my 21st birthday. Out of boot camp I ended up in the amphibs, stationed aboard an AKA, where I was a boatswains mate striker. Boatswain is pronounced bosn. The war over, the Navy had way to many people, rates were frozen, and it was impossible to get promoted, so I elected not to stay. My primary job aboard ship was an "assault boat coxswain" and I drove a landing craft. Right now my avatar is an LCM, "Mike boat" on the beach with the ramp down. The picture was taken in Subic Bay, P. I., hence no surf.

As I am getting older, but not as old as some of you, I figured that in twenty or so years the name would fit.

Wishing you all the best in the search for treasure!

There are many really cool profile names on the site like Signumops, Ropesfish and ECS to name a few.

I'll start it off SADS 669 is my British Military sub aqua diving supervisor number not very inventive but it will dodde0a

Looking forward to hearing about some of the unusual ones out there?

I have a bunch of dives logged out of Bovi, I used to run dive courses with " the other Kevin" Luckham that is from Bulford camp near Stonehenge in the summers of the 80's I'll send you a PM to chat. We used to dive the Champagne wreck out of Poole never found any bottles but I saw some that others did.

Enjoy BVI, lucky dog.

I to have a Ram. They dropped the Dodge name on the truck, so I guess they just RAM now. Mine only has 35000 miles but it is Commings along. I ordered it fully equipped in 2004. Frank
