What Is Left For One To Do

Yep the odds for most people is even lower. How about some industrial grade gems.........lol

I will stick to some minerals for now.
An acquaintance has offered to rent me a small house in Mexico for $100 per month…It is located near a granite pegmatite that I had mentioned earlier…I remember I used to see the old man walking into an area near the house with his pickaxe…It just might be a good thing if I were to rent the small house…Heck…I could ask his son if he could take me on a tour of his dad’s old digs…I don’t like the thought of a 5 year lease…What if I move there and realize it is not all that I thought it would be???$2000 per month x 12 months x 5 years=120,000 pesos…I don’t think the house is worth more than 200,000 peso…I think I will have to continue to think about it…

Did they consider glacial drift???There are times when you try to force a square into a circular hole and it just doesn’t fit…

Not likely.

Have run into some however the odds do not seem to be in one's favor.

I will have to open my eyes more as the following is interesting:
Some of the world’s best gemstone mines are in pegmatites. Gemstones found in pegmatite include: amazonite, apatite, aquamarine, beryl, chrysoberyl, emerald, garnet, goshenite, heliodor, kunzite, lepidolite, morganite, spodumene, topaz, tourmaline, zircon, and many others. Large crystals of excellent-quality material are often found in pegmatite.

I know granite pegmatites are a great place to look for many interesting mineral specimens…

I have been crunching a lot of numbers and the math is not very promising…IF I do decide to give Mexico a try, I will probably end up with around $600-$650 to actually live on per month down there…I would still have to maintain a residence here in CA and continue to pay my bills here and such, in case I decide Mexico is not for me… Maybe I should talk with my psychiatrist about it…IF I wait 8 months, I can probably pay off a loan I have, which will give me some extra cash to possibly furnish the small house little by little…

I will continue to think about it…

Thanks and good night.

The thought of this was keeping me awake…I wonder what a certain member of this site thinks of this said metal, that came from the heart of Santa Fe???I shall refrain from using his name…

Maybe now I can get some sleep…

I wonder if I can pick up some more of this stuff down South??? https://www.google.com/search?q=hem...ient=mobile-gws-wiz-serp#imgrc=wPIqXgqjWva7-M

I came across the Hemimorphite at a small mine in Sonora Mexico…One of the owners of the mine showed me some Soapstone and told me that they were mining that…I wonder how they are doing?

Oh…And this is who I was comparing the assayer in Sacramento, CA to… https://www.google.com/search?q=soa...BAzUuMpgBAKABAbABDw&sclient=mobile-gws-wiz-hp

I wonder whatever happened to him or IF there is any relation to Soapy???

Here is an interesting article I came across today for those who might be interested…

It appears that you may have hiked way off the roads etc. in the past. Can you fly in?
That would all depend…lol…Does flying into Culiacán count???

Ed T

Yes it could count.
Did I fail to mention that the small sack I had, with the 4.86 lbs of ore with wire gold in it, was a bean bag which was from Culiacán? I believe it was mayocoba beans, IF my memory serves me correctly…

Oh well…Maybe one day I may return to some of my old playgrounds…

Well people…I have given you all some juicy clues as to some of my old playgrounds…IF any of you do choose to jump on a plane and fly to Culiacá, more power to you…

I think I will take a break from this place for a while…I doubt anyone is willing to ante up any time soon…And I am not even really sure IF I would be willing to take anyone to Santa Fe…I will continue to play the lottery and IF it is God’s will for me to reveal its location, I will hit it one day…

Take care people…
