Capn Bill is that you?? Did you reincarnate? What can I say…I feel like I am a real life Forrest Gump…I have found: wire gold, silver, platinum, and even diamond…
Heck, I have even been to several areas I believe to be areas of treasure legends…I have solved the Peralta Stones which lead to the legendary Cursum Perficio aka Tesoro de Santa Fe…As well as a few other sites…
I have even written a few poems in my day…So what should I do next?
Only time will tell…Maybe some day a well to do treasure hunter will ante up and make the trip to Santa Fe…Who knows
We will jest have to wait and see…

No Capn Bill here Boogeyman…But I do remember his avatar…I believe it was a jeep towing a trailer…Or something to that effect…Capn Bill is that you?? Did you reincarnate?
(You ole timers & Tnetters will get this)(not a Forest Gump reference)
Yeah, He plugged along in an old wagoneer. Made him jealous with my Grand Wagoneer when he was hanging out in Phoenix. He was good at reading snipits from the web & adapting them to his own adventures. Imagine reading one of my old adventures from the 1970s and not recalling seeing him there? His buddy down on Indian school put the cam in his jeep after he got in over his head. Never worked as good as the jeep magazine article said it would. Yep, he made me a firm believer in chest waders....No Capn Bill here Boogeyman…But I do remember his avatar…I believe it was a jeep towing a trailer…Or something to that effect…
I will admit that I have been around a lot longer than my account states…I am currently on my 3rd account…The first two being Ed T and bluedeer, I believe…
I have seen quite a few come and go…And this place seems too lose a little more of its appeal with the passing of each member…
Not one of us knows exactly how much time remains in our hourglasses, as the sands of time slip away…
I only wish I could have spent as much time in Mexico as Capn Bill and the Tropical Tramp Don Jose de La Mancha…
I will continue to hope that one day, IF God is willing, I will retire in Mexico…

I’m not sure who told the better tale: Capn Bill, Not Peralta, Don Jose, or Azdave…There have been quite a few around here who told some tall tales…Yeah, He plugged along in an old wagoneer. Either way I have really enjoyed talking with you here. You have opened my eyes some and that is priceless.Well…I have set a tight budget to open up the possibility to make my dream come true within 4 months…Of course I will have to cut back on certain things but I do believe it may be doable…I guess we will have to take the wait and see approach…I hope things will work out…
Enjoy the rest of your evening people…I think I will try to get some early shut eye…
Ed T😄
It has been nice meeting and conversing with you as well…Either way I have really enjoyed talking with you here. You have opened my eyes some and that is priceless.
Hope things work well for you.
That is good that you will still be around. It has been nice meeting and conversing with you as well…
I’m sure I will still be around…I also hope that I will have much more to share…
I hope to track down Don Gabino’s son…I would like to ask him IF he still has any of his dad’s items that he showed me so many years ago…I wonder IF he has the little stone that appears to have been fashioned by a native with an XVIII on one side and I can’t recall what image is on the other…
I am just hoping on a 4 month timeline…There are so many other variables that can mess up my plans…I have a couple other things in the works that can throw off said schedule and there is no guarantee that the little house will still be available when I want it to be ready…
We will just have to wait and see…I can always dream of it happening but reality is a totally different thing…

If push comes to shove I will break down a buy me a little house that is on a ranch out of town…Several years ago it was up for sale for $100,000 pesos, which is less than $6000 dollars…It may not be near a granite pegmatite but it will be my house and I will still be able to play with minerals…That is IF the inhabitants of the rancho will accept me and let me purchase the house…My kids tell me that I have lost my mind… lolThat is good that you will still be around.
4 months is not to long to wait for us that are interested.
It appears you have strong breadcrumbs to track back with. Good for you.
I hope all goes well even if things don't fully pan out. Stay safe.
Enjoying life is the important factor here.
