How come nobody's posted "californicators" yet ? Was the favorite term I heard often up around Seattle in the late '90's in reference to folks that were moving north & paying WAY MORE than the asking price for homes for sale in the Seattle area............... (drove up everyones property values & taxes)

funny thing in central cali we are conservative 8)

Since I was a kid all I heard was California is "the land of fruits and nuts."

I changed my thoughts about that back about 6 years ago when I came into contact with a teacher who hunts those massive farm lands in southern Cal. Somehow he got the rights to hunt them and he and his team kill the loot. Most of his finds are of Spanish origin dating to the 17th century.

I've posted about this before but got hassled by some members so I don't talk about it much anymore. If one knows where to hunt on land and off the coast (several lost shipwrecks) one can find all the treasure one could ever want.

I know of several individuals who know these sites and they work them quietly in their spare time.

So, today California is the land of Spanish treasure from the early days of occupation.

One of my favorite Spanish cobs was dug in southern Cal. My favorite maravedis was recovered from a shipwreck off the Cal coast.
