oh I got a batch of lures today ... vintage 1970's stuff (new old stock) still in the package ... two are "school teachers"-- a floater / diver 3 inch blue/greenish two treble hook model the other a brown colored 4 inch model D floater / diver --thought you might like them..they can be used as salt water casting plugs ..

Ivan,

thanks sooooo much for the offer, but there are worthier people out there for the lures than me,

I just don't fish enough.......but thanks again. It would be just my luck to snag Aquanut or Old Mans son Tom.......

worked on the USNS HARKNESS --we had one on those " underwater towed sound arrays " -- very very touchy microphones towed about 3 miles behind the vessel -- we were a "oceanigraphic survey vessel" doing ocean depth surveys ---we were not repeat not a spy vessel tracking Russian Boomer subs and recording their nuke engine and operation noises so that a smart microchip could made to be placed inside of "homing torpedo" to hunt them down and kill them ---of course since the "big mouth of MR AMES" blabbed about many of our secret programs to Russians this is no longer a secret.

there once was a time --the above statement was worth ...oh say 5 to 10 years in jail.. or more..

Ivan,

I don't have a big mouth and your iPad is clearly playing up because my last name is JAMES, ( ok, before old man chips in I admit, I do have a big mouth)

Aldrich Ames ... a traitor who told the Russians way too many highly secret things .. I used to work on several highly secret intell type operations in the old days.. Ames blabbing ruined them for the most part ---he got several russian US intel sources killed ..by revealing who they were ..which of course was a death sentance

Sads669, I know that you know how to keep a secret.
You never told anyone about that pirate wreck we just found in S.C.
I hope I didn't let the cat out of the bag?
