all this talk of the good old times that I apparently missed makes me want to go back and read the old posts if they go back that far.

(and I kinda like Enimen's gangsta persona. He wasn't malicious about it and I got a kick out of it. But I defer with respect to TH and the mods with whatever decision they make. (as long as I can spell right today. LOL))

I didn't like it, his personality that is. Just a lot of posting with nothing good said. Seen that type here before. Remember CC anyone? (On another note I think he is back also and will point him out to the mods in the coming days).
 

It was funny for a little while, but like most children, they didn't know when a joke was no longer funny.

I have never been denied access to the group due to a high number of lurkers as the hip hop boys claimed, but I sure did waste a lot of time sifting through stale "tellas gonna get hit with a roll o clad" garbage.

Glad this will be back to information and the occasional funny story instead of Mutt and Jeff and their tired and yawn-inducing vaudeville act.

The old posts do go back indefinitely. Before I ever posted, I read approx 2ys worth (not every post, but at least a couple from every page) and found some "favorite" members that I wish were still around. I also spot checked many older pages/posts - all the way back to the start of the CRH forum.

Reading old posts can be pretty addicting. I started making a list of my favorite posts and was going to post the list with links but I kinda lost the desire - mostly because of the nonsense mood of the forum. The whole atmosphere was just not conducive to sharing my appreciation.

Let's cross our fingers for a new beginning.
 

Well, they certainly fooled me. I only started coin roll hunting a couple weeks ago. When I read those threads, I thought I was getting involved in a hobby at exactly the wrong time. Thanks for clearing this up mods.

How many people ended up getting struck down on this one?

I know Eminem, 50 Cent, and OnARoll, but anyone else? What about other "personalities"? I remember seeing several of them on here, but can't find them or remember their names.

I will name no names, those on timeouts are welcome to return with their usernames but the ghetto rhetoric will no longer be allowed here.

Thanks for the complement. I used to post obsessively (I didn't get 5500 posts while lurking), but now realize that it should be quality over quantity. The funny thing is, I'm only 21 and this is the only place I can be called an oldtimer!

Stephen Hawking is the only other one I can remember.
 

Goldencoin is correct. No need to report everything. I now prefer to read the posts and help with an ID when needed. I definitely didn't enjoy all of the thugonomics posted lately.
 

The "hobby is over stuff" was pointless. Glad it was pulled. I poured a 40 on the ground this morning for our friends on vacation. HH

Amen to that, it was getting ridiculous especially the teller guides etc.
