Eldo, there is NO connection here to the 1885 Beale Papers.Sure it wasn't the cover name for Jacob Waltz...
JacoB Waltz
James B Ward
The agent who passed the info along to Morriss as it was clear that Reavis had been arrested and was making his statement of guilt here
Reavis is Beale ...
Reavis got caught by the guilt of the murders, so he grabbed his old friend Jacob Waltz from the desert near his mansion, in Ft. McDowell, and bribed him with the location to one of the mines and the gold there....plate and raw ore...if he would deliver the papers to the men in Virginia...
The Vault? Waltz was in AZ....and here he is speaking about the 'Locality of the Vault' in VA to find the mines in AZ.
As Reavis had a change of heart and was ashamed of the killing of his own men at the hands of the Confederates, he secretly encoded the Beale Codes into a story about the times and his reasoning...
AND! John Pickrell Risque was James Beverly Risque's brother... JB Risque was JB Ward & the Hutter Bros.' Grandfather. JPR was their Grand Uncle...?There are many influences that may have contributed to Ward's 1885 copyrighted Beale Paper s, E F Beale's 1850 Beale, Papers. Lewis and Clark journals, Jonathan Swift silver mine. Ward's relatives from the extended Risqué family bloodline, including John Pickrell Risqué, who was murdered by Native Americans while inspecting gold and silver mines in Arizona.
It is due to these various real historical events that lead to all the never ending speculation and Beale mystery solved claims over the years. It is always could be, but hard evidence is never established to prove it so.
George Hart, Sr. DID go by "Luserne" for the Census; CHILDHOOD NAME. Only George Hart, Sr. was given the 32nd of Scottish Rite... as a OLDER man (72), in DC (he was living with his son, George Hart, Jr.; FEDERAL JUDGE!). Sr. was PROBABLY given or "earned" the 32nd, at the S. R. TEMPLE in DC... one can only earn 32nd or 33rd in the SCOTTISH RITE. I WAS 32nd from the Richmond, Va. TEMPLE; no longer "active".Thought you might like that one Reb! After reading the "Hart Papers" for the ga-zillionth time it is plainly obvious the author, at least the narrative (not the seance portion), was mimicking the writing style of the original Papers...the question is why...which then prompted a look into George L. Hart...and I can't find him unless he is actually "Luserne" in the records but who went by George. I've also read many times that both brothers were 32nd or 33rd degree Masons? If so, at what Lodge(s)?
...and that may be why no one has been able to establish any evidence supporting the existence of the Beale expedition as described in the 1885 Beale Papers.... One researcher indicated that the name, "THOMAS BEALE" was ONLY used as a "literary device" for "Thomas J. Beale" in the BP Pamphlet... NOT for an ACTUAL "Person". NOT Thomas Beale, Sr., NOT Thomas Beale, Jr.; NOR, a REAL... Thomas Jefferson Beale...
That is CORRECT!...and that may be why no one has been able to establish any evidence supporting the existence of the Beale expedition as described in the 1885 Beale Papers.
Edward Fitzgerald Beale(1822-1893) was a frontiersman who published his journals in 1850-"The Beale Papers",which are available from the LIBRARY of Congress.
The similarities between E F Beale's papers and Ward's pamphlet are hard to dismiss-here are just a few.
E F BEALE -1850 ----- ------- ----T J BEALE-1885 Ward's pamphlet
Started expedition in St Louis --- --- Left St Louis
Expedition had 30 men--- --- Expedition had 30 men
Went to Santa Fe --- --- Went to Santa Fe
Traveled in Colorado--- ---Found gold and silver in Colorado
Born in 1822 --- ---Letters to Morriss dated 1822,Ward born 1822
Published journal as "THE BEALE PAPERS"--- ---Ward pamphlet "THE BEALE PAPERS"
E F called "justley a lion" --- --- T J called "the Lion"
One journey listed as 1817 miles--- --- Started journey in 1817
Gold was NOT found by E F --- ---One of T J's men found the gold
Recieved $13,000 for an adventure--- --- Exchanged silver for $13,000 for transportation
Similar words and terms used in both "BEALE PAPERS"
EXACT LOCALITY
STAMPEDE
ABUNDANCE OF GAME
ACCESSION TO OUR NUMBERS
BUFFALOES
GRIZZLY BEARS
There are many others.
So the question arises-Happenstance,Coincidence,or Deliberate Plaglarism on the part of Ward to sell a concocted treasure story with one solved cipher solved, the other two unsolvable?
Or is the story a PERSHER CODE relating to a KGC treasure vault?
You are way out there on this one. What a JOKE!!!!!!!!!

True; FIRST Gold in 1848; starting the GOLD RUSH...? "49-ers"... GREAT football team; heh...The comparisons between E F Beale's 1850 journal and Ward's 1885 Beale Papers are hard to ignore.
... and his 1850 BEALE PAPERS would have been available to Ward and Sherman, as well of those of Lewis & Clark, the story of the Swift Mine, and the article that appeared in the April 16, 1879 edition of the LYNCHBURG VIRGINIAN concerning the Robert O Willis $65,000 treasure of gold, silver, and jewelry that was found hidden in a Kentucky cave.E. F. Beale was a GREAT man! E. F. Beale - wiki.

E F Beale did bring the first nugget of gold to Washington, which informed the East of the activities at Sutter's Mill, and lead to the 1849 Gold Rush.
The Robert O Willis tory and E F Beale's bringing the first gold nugget to Washington DC provided the "treasure" part of the 1885 Beale Papers.... and his 1850 BEALE PAPERS would have been available to Ward and Sherman, as well of those of Lewis & Clark, the story of the Swift Mine, and the article that appeared in the April 16, 1879 edition of the LYNCHBURG VIRGINIAN concerning the Robert O Willis $65,000 treasure of gold, silver, and jewelry that was found hidden in a Kentucky cave.

No fiction here except for the 1885 Beale Papers.Nice thread of fiction sweet pea!
