Want to try Dowsing?

There is underground springs, which dowse, when crossed because they are moving water.. And there is underground auquafers that don't dowse, unless your dowsing the perimeter.
So it's not possible to dowse an aquifer hundreds of miles wide with trillions of gallons of water because it's not moving fast enough ... but it is possible to dowse a tablespoon of water in a container at ground level ... that also isn't moving. Well that clears it up.

The reason I'm sticking to what I think I've discovered, not for my research but for my own demonstrations, is that I will only have one opportunity to succeed at the US $600,000 Challenge I've applied for to fund the study that I want to do. And, if I don't succeed in winning the challenge, I'll just apply for some of the grants that I know are currently available.
Is this the CFI prize?

As for alibis and what science has or hasn't looked at, water dowsing is still considered to be pseudo science. As for other types of dowsing, I simply don't know.
All dowsing is the same. The mechanisms that explain how water dowsing works applies to all other dowsing. The instruments might vary (L-rod, Y-rod, pendulum, bobber, etc) but they are all initiated by the dowser via ideomotor and visual cues.

I've discovered some of the many potentially confounding factors one confronts in trying to study water dowsing with L-Shaped rods. I'd hate to think how complex it would be to study any other type of dowsing and/or if scientific methods can even support such an effort. I'm also not saying I'm brighter than anyone else. I just think that everyone else who has tried to study this phenomenon didn't do sufficient due diligence to control enough of the overall and individual factors that could easily keep one from being able to support any hypothesis that might be critical to the effort of being able to say that they found sufficient evidence to support the hypothesis that water dowsing with rods does indeed work for some people.
Actually, water dowsing is one of the more difficult types to test. Most water dowsers believe they are dowsing underground flowing streams so they want the test to have flowing water. This means burying a field of pipes with control valves, tends to be expensive. Dowsing for, say, a gold ring or a silver coin is a test far easier to manage. I can't imagine any physical dowsing that can't be tested, although something like petroleum dowsing might be extremely expensive to test. Some people claim they can dowse for auras or chakras but that's using make-believe to dowse for make-believe, so stuff like that probably can't be tested.

In any case, I am not trying to discourage you from a dowsing test, but I very strongly urge you to submit yourself to your own test, with full controls applied. That is, having someone else randomly place the water, maintaining complete isolation.

To unconfuse people.

Flowing underground springs (streams) are fairly rare. The vast amount of groundwater is held in quasi-static aquifers. A whole lotta water dowsers will disagree that they can't dowse aquifers.

At that point I was talking about dowsing over top, as you were talking about walking around your yard.
Yes, of course stagnant water can be dowsed. A water bottle will connect to a lake and possibly an small aquafer. I know I Dowse the neighbors swimming pools.. But a large aquafer would be tough.. There is no connection line to moving water or moving electricity. But they are dowsable over top.
You can't dowse water when standing in or over water, only the perimeter of everything dowses. Not the interior..

It's an easy dowse test. Go stand on a dock, boat, or pontoon, what dowses water? No!
Make a large square or shape of tin foil on the floor, dowse towards the interior, what dowses tinfoil? No. Only the perimeter of stuff dowses.. Not the interior of what's underneath..

Got it! I was wondering what people meant when they mentioned tuning in to particular frequencies. Can you message me the address of a forum where such topics are allowed?
I have other topics discussing what I have Dowsed about frequencies so far. One is The "Frequency of Frequencies", which showed me that multiple Frequencies, different sequences and lengths of sequences of 10 digits, resonate the same things.
Hopefully you can find some answers there!

I can easily see why no one has been able to study dowsing under controlled conditions. There are so many potentially contributing factors but that, in itself, doesn't negate the possibility that enough of those factors can be understood and controlled so that the phenomenon can be studied. As for my being able to dowse a tablespoon of water, I was only talking about my own experience. So is it possible to dowse a tablespoon of water. Yes, absolutely! But it depends upon the kind of rod you're using, the time of day, the height of the tablespoon, and the direction you are traversing in your search. Of course it might also depend upon some other factors that I either haven't considered yet, or simply don't know about yet.

We haven’t even begun to touch this subject. For starters there is a difference between the ethereal realm (pre-physical) aka dowsing, and the psychic stuff in the astral realm.

Here’s an example of ethereal: you have a forked stick or dowsing rod and you locate a hot spot for some water. In order to find the depth you start at the spot and walk out until you get a rod response. That distance is the depth.
Okay now the astral: you stand in the spot and count in increments whatever rule you decide—inches, feet, tens of feet, hundreds of feet, whatever units. When you reach the depth the rod will respond.

Basically most people on this forum think map dowsing is just ethereal dowsing. False! You see the information “dowsing” is not in the ethereal realm. AND the astral stuff is way more susceptible to errors.

Not all phone power bank chargers will work. The fancier they are they more likely they will not supply power if not for the exact phone type. The cheap ones with a solar cell don’t have the fancy electronics about $10.

Dell Winders referred to the different types as physical dowsing and mental dowsing. Most people do not realize they are not the same. With physical dowsing the rods respond to the edges of the target’s field and less to the actual target. A common mistake is to think the edge of the target’s field is the actual target. Not much problem for surface targets but for deep targets it is a big problem.

Something else here the earth’s magnetic field strength changes with solar magnetic disturbances. This changes the target’s resonant frequency. When this occurs the signal line can be pushed off up to 30 degrees.

But another big problem is atmospheric electrical potential gradient. Normally there is a sky current going down into the earth. As long as there is good conductivity (air is not a good conductor) from enough small ions the sky current will be able to drain away the excess voltage. But during solar magnetic storms the cosmic rays are blocked/reduced and small ions are not being produced from the cosmic rays. So the air conductivity is lowered and the voltage potential gradient increases until it overpowers any dowsing. Right now later in the day the potential gradient is higher so conditions are weaker. The air conductivity doesn’t affect the signal by itself but the increased potential is caused from poor air conductivity.
Lightning also plays a role in the potential gradient. Later in the day more lightning. It can affect things from thousands of miles away usually on a N/S line.

Dell did not say you absolutely cannot dowse during solar magnetic activity. Some people must have jumped to conclusion. He did say the solar flares are an issue and that sometimes one flare might catch up with the one in front of it and they combine forces. I have read there can be magnetic superhighways from the sun that the flares ride on.

The first recorded solar magnetic interference was when Moses struck the rock and water did not flow until he struck it a second time. His punishment was he never made it to the Promised Land.

Usually the solar interference does not last long so check again in five or ten minutes. Sometimes it last much longer.

Another thing that increases the potential gradient is dust particles and pollution in the air. It ends up with more large ions (they travel much slower and the voltage in the air cannot bleed off as fast). People who live in populated areas might have to wait for a cold front to pass through to clean the air. Convection is the process of air heating and rising. Cooler air from above moves down to fill in to replace the rising air. Usually you can feel the freshness in air with plenty of small ions. Cumulus clouds (look like cotton balls) are a sign of convection but some days you can still have convection without cumulus clouds.

Dell was pretty adamant about that.

Unrelated question: As I recall you were friends with Claude Cochran... is he still alive?

Well, you think what you want but you really are trying to put words in my mouth. PLEASE STOP! As for Claude, he called me had to be last century tried to sell me a locator. Somebody said he got divorced and was in the Philippines with some young girl. He was hunting over there, somebody told me they were spying on his operation. Never heard a word about him since.
