Vietnam Vet Denied Second Amendment Right

I am working on it. I am fortunate enough to have done enough before and after my service to allow me private counsel and the possibility of staying out of the VA system.
But i thank you for your offer.

Dano is also a veteran. He has felt what you have. He served a different country, but that does not change what he has been through.

I work with a lot of patients who have too much trauma to go through the VA. I have also worked 8 years as a consult for the VA. I am glad you have people to help you. My offer always stands, PM me anytime you need to. I can speak for Rebel as well, he is not an MD but he knows things that I don't.

Peace be with you my friend,
Crispin

So was Hitler and Timothy Mcveigh.

TBI could come from "Blast-Injury" as well as hearing/sight loss (IED); Dr. "C" is very knowledgeable about TBI-related
"issues"; MORE important than 2nd Amendment "thing". "BAND-AIDS"... SORTA; it is UP to YOU to follow through on your RECOVERY, the BEST you can... w/o worrying about the 2nd Amendment Gun Right "thing".

Holy hell

What from?
And again, if you don't want to put it out there, you can PM me...

LOL! NOPE, not I. I am OK, now... focus is on YOU. Dr. "C" has offered FREE to you; I will do a ON-LINE "outline" consult FREE for vets that want it. Just an "outline"; NOT gonna be a "Dear Abby" type of "operation".

Branch?
And I probably COULD (worry about other things) but I was in the unfortunate situation to have seen 49 people that had been 'disarmed' and then massacred and dismembered because a provincial religious leader decided that their particular flavor of the religion offended the big M in his view.

Yes, that DOES sound like a very TRAUMATIC event...

I can't possibly imagine being there and not being able to do anything about it because my rifle had been taken from me beforehand, like theirs had.
So I will NEVER. EVER be disarmed. not ****ing ever. They will have to kill me first, because that is what happens when one person who wants to control another has a gun and their subject does not.
You ain't gonna stop a 7.62x39 with a prayer to allah or a call to 911.

Bitter little loser ain't he? I only hit him once and he threw the towel in. Hero! lol.

Dano...let this one go, please... at my request. Save your fire for the ones plotting to ban you from TNET. I will fight along side you there.

Fair enough mate, but if he hits i'll hit back.

You guys don't have to deal with the VA. If you did, you would understand. If the VA makes a bad move, or decision, then they close ranks and cover for each other, and appeals go on forever, papers get lost, people lie, it's a rat race. I was involved with helping a vet with both legs missing, who was discharged and kicked out of the hospital, in January, in the rain, in a wheel chair with no money and no place to go. The VA was making his legs, and they weren't done, so he was supposed to come back later. I could go on, but won't, I'll just say the VA is very much political, and they screw over vets on a daily basis. So no, I think most of the time the VA is a C Y A club, and they're very definitely should be more than one opinion from a doctor out side the system. I have to deal with the VA as a patient and as a service officer with the local American Legion, and all I can say is, all you guys that voted for Obama are going to love your new health care system, and you'll be getting what you deserve.

Fair skies and following seas to you and yours and Rocks and Shoals for all the rest.
God we need Rocks and Shoals in schools today....

I know better the faults of the VA then both of you. Believe me, You speak rumors of what happens there and I have experienced it first hand. That is why I no longer work for them. However, my concern is not for the VA system as a whole. It has failed...we all know that. My concern is to help the individuals that cross paths with my own. Rebel and I are here to help. Enough said...use us as a resource for healing or discard us. You will not find too many more Americans who offer what we do for free. I have never faced the incoming fire of enemy combatants; but, if you think I do not know trauma...well...

Ps. Respect Dano! He is your brother in arms.

How about i 'tolerate' him til i find out more about him?
I have a hard time with people from one country telling those in another how they should live, especially if they have been under arms and have taken an oath to do so?
I will stand down, but I reserve the right to vette those who claim to have "been there done that" yet stab at the right of people in other countries to defend themselves. It immediately makes me suspicious.
If he can tell me how many times Harry got mortared and what Radway Green and Goose green are and who the highest ranking conscripted member of the British Military currently is and where there are from, also when did they move the boathouse from Hereford to Poole and why, and then tell me about his racing spoon...we may talk.

Sounds good to me. In time, you will see that Dano is our Ally. If I am wrong, have at him, lol. ;)

That IS a painful memory for you; and yes, the war between the 2 beliefs in Islam has caused a SCHISM... HOWEVER! YOUR "solution" is NOT conducive to YOUR Recovery; I DO understand your "reactions" for "self-defense", tho. You feel EMPOWERED by your gun.

Your Vet COULD have been helped by your local Center for Independent Living; ppl with disabilities, who KNOW what it is like; the "waiting game" IS a "tough one". Voting for Obama has NOTHING to do with it!
