VA saying Vets with PTSD unable to own guns

I'm not sure wat all the hype is about but as a nam vet I feel a lot of disgruntled vets felt that we were used and came back with a desire to "get wat we can from the govt" for wat they did. Especially from the nam where we came home to be called vile names and spit on. I know several who dilliberately saw their counselor and "acted" nutsy to get the tag "PTSD" and receive that extra money. I told them at the time that this was wrong and only makes it harder for real PTSD patients to get the kind of care that they need. Lately it seems that everyone who comes home from a war has some sort of mental breakdown and labeled "PTSD". Maybe its the establishment trying to make amends or whatever but I still think its bad for all of us.
As far as the 2nd amendment is concerned, I am a staunch believer in it and it is being attacked vigorously by a bunch of idiots BUT I also know some REAL PTSD patients who I would even hesitate to give a gun to. Sort of a catch 22. As patriots (yes I still feel like one), we should be vigilant to "all encompassing" statements by the left who don't know the right end of a barrel making knee jerk decisions that put us all in the same category as "potential terrorists".
Lets all remember that there are a lot of crazies out there that the accommodating establishment has created who have no morals and should not be allowed to have guns. Unfortunately, how can u stop a criminal element who don't give a damn about laws and look at people as pieces of meat who get in their way. My answer was, is, and will continue to be a 12ga behind my door.
This is a veeery complicated issue and what we can do is make sure our "representatives" get to the real problems instead of *******izing our constitution which some of us fought and died for.

Yer "12 Gauge" is OK... WELCOME HOME!

2nd Amendment Right IS being used by "PRO-GUNNERS" to make PTSD the "BAD BOY" to be whipped; LOTS of Vets have it and SOME can adjust with TX & proper meds. NOT curable, yet PAIN MANAGEMENT (emotional, physical, mental, spiritual) is KEY!
