I looked thru one late last night.
The pic of the rounded corner has some blue marks on it... Did you do that or did you find it that way?

Also, do you have any history on the initials from the left side of the pic?

mikel, the blue is a natural growth not really sure what it is, its similar to a mold or lichen. as far as the initials I assumed they are just graffiti, haven't really looked into them

That's the first time that I've noticed it anywhere. It is bold and bright, maybe it's just my old eyes and my cheap wiring harness.

If there is a full one there you will find it. They wanted to give up a stash to save the real vault. Which will be heavily trapped. So do be careful.

Are you thinking.... MD trail?
I've been thinking about getting there from the lower field... I think there is an area just below the debris field that is clearer. At least it once was.

If it is, it might be easier to get close.

There are two important places to see, that could be easier to see, or they could be filled in with saplings. We won't know till we try.
Can't get there soon enough from my point of view.

Okay, I've looked at both pics a little longer, and I know that I want to see both of those spots, up close.
This one looks like an optical illusion, from top to bottom. At first, I thought they were both spots where the flood water had made some cool streams thru the rocks....

Now I'm really seeing much more.
The top right corner almost looks like a snake and so much more...

I think I see letters and a lot more.
That's why I want to put my hands on them. There is a lot in both shots.

We have a big day ahead of us.

Got my clean bill of health this morning, and now ready to fly....

Just waiting for the right day.

I got a newer laptop and trying to download older programs to download older story and TOPO and some older map.
Making progress.

With a small glitch in the settings.
Protocol is for an older host program!

I'll live with it, till I figure out how to get around it.

Now I gotta get the story into the new world so I can fix it.

I've never been much for getting flu
Shots and almost never had a case of flue, for about fifteen years. That streak ended yesterday.
I got fifteen years worth in under 36 hours.
In about fifteen minutes I went from feeling okay to needing to be driven home. My wife wanted to call 911, but I stopped her. She asked later why I said no, when she thought I was going to die.

I told her that my story wasn't done.

It's strange how the treasure hunter's mind works....
