Thomas "Jr." Beale

Chloe Delancy, also known as Chlory Dalancy or Delaney of Botecourt county Virginia, did appeal to the New Orleans Court, claiming to be a heir of Beale's Virginia property. She left empty handed.

YEP! ANOTHER COURT case was "Widow" Beale (& heirs) vs Delancey; MAY be the same one.

Thomas Beale, Sr. "time-line": Fincastle, Va. 1807/1808... Richard/Brad wrote that "Sr." lived one block from James Beverly Risque; Risque sued "Sr". for disrespecting the "family name" of Judy/Julia HANCOCK... descendant of JOHN HANCOCK of DOI "fame". "Sr." MAY have been living with Chloe Delancey (unmarried) with a son... Thomas "Jr." Beale; DUNNO. The DUEL "settled" the court case; "Sr." shot JB Risque, who lived... and skedaddaled down to New Orleans, La. via "BIG OLD MUDDY"... later marrying Celest Grandpre & having 4 kids. The REST, you can read "on-line"; "Sr" died in 1820 & "Jr" died in 1923... MAYBE in DUELS!

BTW, Even Risque's wife had HANCOCK "blood"... on her mother's side; HUGE connection with JOHN HANCOCK in the Risque family... PATRIOTS!

MORE from R & I... The DUEL: "Jr." being born in 1800, was ONLY 7 or 8 years old, when his daddy (Sr.) skedaddadled down
to New Orleans, leaving "Jr." & his momma, behind. In News Orleans the adventures/misadventures that "Sr." had... WHEW!
ANYWAY, he married Celeste Grandpre & had 4 kids... Eliza - 12/1815, Celeste - 9/1818, James William - 1/1820, 0ctavine - 5/1821. Peter Viemeister, in his book, THE BEALE TREASURE: New History of a Mystery, had MORE info; pg. 110-111... & Chapt. 13, pg. 112-116. HH!

"Jr.", being the OLDEST son/brother... was really NEVER accepted by the rest of the family. AND! He was ONLY 23, when he died in 1823.

"Jr.", being the OLDEST son/brother... was really NEVER accepted by the rest of the family. AND! He was ONLY 23, when he died in 1823.

FIRST! 1819... "Jr." came to town; he was 19; "Sr." & his family had been living at the Beale Plantation (aka Uptown Plantation, aka Rickerville), and had the "Beale" Hotel on Chartes St. in N.O. SO... "Sr." conveyed to "Jr." THE PLANTATION, and the HOTEL! "Sr." & family continued to live at the "Plantation" & "Jr." lived at the Hotel on Chartes St. and ran it as Hotel-Keeper.

THEN! "Sr." died or was murdered in 1820! Widow Beale was po'ed! SHE lost EVERYTHING to "Jr."! Did "Jr." try to get his momma in Virginia to "grab" the Fincastle, Va. "piece", if the house/land was in "Sr.'s" name...? THUS... Widow Beale & family v Delancey law-suit; Delancey LOST!

AND! UNEASY PEACE... until "Jr." died or was murdered in 1823; AGAIN... 23 years old.

THUS, ends the SAGA(S) of Thomas Beale, Sr. & Thomas "Jr." Beale (Thomas J. Beale aka TJB) in New Orleans, La. As Richard/Brad wrote... "In my judgement, his ONLY contribution to the treasure legend has been the USE OF HIS NAME." I agree... NEXT: Julia/Judy HANCOCK & the Corps of Discovery (Lewis & Clark Expedition, Thomas Jefferson, Ciphers/Codes...).

Looking for some help with Names

Dose Thebe Beale or Reine (Renee) Lister sound like kin to the Thomas Beale here? The spelling may be off on the names. The Document I have is very old. 1820

Tom Closs Beale

Can you scan it, here...?

Also i am very thankful for your help. I have been having a really hard time figuring this out.

One MAIN court case ended up in SUPREME COURT of Louisiana; ALREADY posted that info. 2nd court case was Beale (Widow) & others vs Delancey (mother of Thomas, "Jr" Beale); Delancey lost. "Sr." had THREE sons with his wife in New Orleans... COULD be your "info"; ALREADY posted THAT info, too! There was a 3rd court case, too. It was ALL a "LEGAL MESS" from 1819-1823 or so...

Yo!

Sticking with the topic of "Persher Code", I asked on another Treasure Hunting web-site if anyone else had heard of it... THANKS, Springfield, I thought I was "losing my Mind', 'cause I KNEW I had heard/read of it SOMEWHERE... You are correct, and that is where the saying comes from... "reading between the lines..." I was researching the Beale Codes/Treasure of Bedford County, Virginia at the time. P.C. was to be used, when reading the BEALE STORY/PAPERS... dunno, NEVER tried it. Date it from @ 1885, when Beale Pamphlet came out or something, is all I remember. Hmmmm...

REBEL you wrote this in 2007 and you are still looking for a Beale to call your own??? And you haven't been able to tie them into eachother being a forgery?

I think you guys are going to be surprised when you see that you were looking at the Persher Code they wrote the whole time to mask their operations in the AZ supes

......you even researched into this yourself and still think its Beale, Beale, Beale

I found one as well......I have his postcard
