HH All
Some very nice finds. One correction though. The W. J. Bryan for is actually from 1908 and not 1896. He ran for president 3 times. 1896, 1900, and 1908. You can pretty much date the items by the picture of his face. Your fob was issued in his last race for the presidency. A great find.

Thanks for that info, I recall getting a lot of search results for the 'Cross of Gold' speech during his 1896 Campaign, and left off there..
Research is key.
I am impressed with your knowledge about what I thought was a pretty obscure Item.
HH to you! ;D

Bump! :)

Cartier time pieces at Denver Museum of Art

I like old time pieces and this month my daughter and I went to the Denver Museum of Art for the Cartier exhibition. There were many fantastic works in the jewelry of Cartier that were made over the last century. My favorite are the time pieces. I used my cell cam and the lighting situation made it a bit difficult to capture a good clear picture, but these are some that look better then others. The 1st clock was a complicated 5 time zones clock, Cartier presented to FDR during the WWII era. The clocks made for the Asian market are just outstanding works of precious metals, gems and lapidary art.
