Found this silver earing with the 4 inch AT Max sniper coil today.

Ever since I put that little coil on I'm finding all sorts of small stuff, especially split shot sinkers and molten aluminum

This coil really does make a HUGE difference in heavily trashed areas.

The area I'm hunting is so trashed when you run the detector over a chunk of ground it sounds like Morse Code. This separates the signals well allowing me to hear different signals even if they are only like 3 inches apart.

Small coils are great in trashy areas. I've found some keepers in those pull tab mine fields. It's definitely a true test of patience. I spent an hour and a half walking one 75 foot line next to a park pavilion and came up with a merc, a silver ring and a boy scout pinewood derby metal. Since upgrading machines I dedicated my nox as the sniper.

I love this coil all except for the fact that very small split shot sinkers ring up in the typical gold range and sometimes those tiny sinkers can be really hard to find in the dirt and waste a bunch of my time chasing them with the pointer.

Well done on the earring.

Would a small sifter work quicker for those tiny shots, or is the site to gravelly?

This is what it looks like where I detect. All Screwdriver digging. You can't even use a shovel much less a scoop.

Where I am standing in this pic is usually under 5 feet of water.
