The Things You Can Find With a Tiny Coil

Found this silver earing with the 4 inch AT Max sniper coil today.

Ever since I put that little coil on I'm finding all sorts of small stuff, especially split shot sinkers and molten aluminum

This coil really does make a HUGE difference in heavily trashed areas.

The area I'm hunting is so trashed when you run the detector over a chunk of ground it sounds like Morse Code. This separates the signals well allowing me to hear different signals even if they are only like 3 inches apart.

Small coils are great in trashy areas. I've found some keepers in those pull tab mine fields. It's definitely a true test of patience. I spent an hour and a half walking one 75 foot line next to a park pavilion and came up with a merc, a silver ring and a boy scout pinewood derby metal. Since upgrading machines I dedicated my nox as the sniper.
