I got tired of the same old jobs for washed up construction workers and enrolled in a truck driving academy. I just graduated from a 160 hour state accredited school and received my diploma. I’m now officially a CDL-A license holder with doubles, triples and tanker endorsements. I’ve even got a job already in Fremont, Nebraska as a regional driver. Just thought I’d share. My grade average was 89%. The final test was at the MSHP CDL testing site in Jefferson City, Mo and it was very difficult. Pre-Trip Inspection, maneuvers and road test. I made a 98% at the test site.

Congrats.... You sir are a go getter...!!!! I'm happy for ya and hope everything works out great for you. You should be very proud. That's quite a change from construction work to truck driver...!!!!

I used to live in the Brunswick MO. area for awhile years ago.

Thank you! I know a guy from Brunswick, Les Heishman. We were in the same class together for 4 years in the sheet metal trade. Haven’t seen him in years.
I’ll make double what I made in construction just in the first year and the work is less as a driver. I should have done this a lot sooner.
