Depends, how much cooking oil was involved...........................

Most certainly 'not',, You are presenting proof of an act which is in conflict with your professed physical state, regardless if it was facilitated with coking oil ???
Don Jose de La Mancha :icon_scratch::dontknow::laughing7: :occasion14:

Your right Don Jose

A good strong cup of Java usually clears things out in the morning, clears the brain somewhat....................

As far as the topic of the thread, It would not matter at this point if somebody came forward with a maker of the maps, most would not really care or stop looking, it's basically the fun of the puzzle.

Mary,

Does it really matter if someone comes out and says the Stones are fakes? People were out there dying looking for the lost Dutchman LONG before the Stones were discovered. I doubt you'll convince people that the lost Dutchman doesn't exist, so why bother? I mean, there's no proof that the Stones are linked to the lost Dutchman, correct? So that means it's tough to lay blame on one particular person. Other than Waltz, or the person that chooses to go hunting.

Just a thought.

Thanks for your time,
Waylon

Reading the first post on this thread it seems Hal and Mary have a special relationship. I hope your not wearing the pink dress Hal. Will the real Carlos Danger please stand up.

Good Evening,

9 and counting. The number of mind numbing posts by Sarge defending Mr. Kollenborn. 0 and holding. The number of posts by Mr. kollenborn defending Sarge.

Waylon,

If you have friends or family killed or maimed in the Superstitions looking for the end of the Stone Map trail, maybe you will understand.

Mary

Especially if Carlos Danger covered them over. Mary I know it's hard for you to let me go but as I said it just won't work out. I know it's hard because I'm so good looking and charming. It just has to be.

Mary,

I've only ever hiked alone in the Superstitions, so no worries there. I would much rather see a friend or family member die doing something they're passionate about, rather than dying after a life lived half-assed. Just my opinion though, and not everyone thinks like I do.

Thanks for your time,
Waylon

Tom does not like to post on these sites because he does not want to get into these kinds of conversations. Last time he offered his opinion on the Stone Maps, over on DUSA, a professed long time "friend" called him and raised so much hell, he decided it was not worth the effort.

That's too bad. His input and stories would be great to have on the forum. But after sifting through the arguments on these topics, can't say I blame him. It seems like its that way on every forum I've looked over though, not just this one.

At least we can read the stories he's put up in his "Chronicles". That's better than nothing.

Thanks for the time,
Waylon

It's not the whole forum. For some reason the LDM and maps attract some nutballs. A few post interesting topics then the nutballs take over and the posts go downhill. When living in Pennsylvania I was active treasure hunting. I would post photos and maps along with things I uncovered researching a subject. After doing so you did not get all the Carlos Danger bull from those hiding behind fake names. I don't hide who I am and I'm easy to find. I don't hide behind a pink dress. Ill say one thing for Joe. He does post interesting info. The Pitt Mine is a good example. Most would be fed up by now and not bother.

Frank,

Thank you for the kind words. I must admit I'm close to the not bother end of the spectrum.

Take care,

Joe

We try very hard to leave all topics and discussions open but enough on the innuendoes especially the sexual ones. This is directed at all posters.Thank you.

Actually Hal when my wife and I went to the casino today I wore a pink shirt she bought me for my birthday. Knowing the history of the Kings I have little regard for their opinions. If you want to encourage someone disrupting the forum posting under numerous false names that's your issue. I lost all respect for you when you posted that you witnessed a dog being kicked and you did nothing. Ill just leave it at that. I have no further interest in your opinions.
