Evening all xx hope u are all well! xx we failed to get out yesterday.. the fields were swampy bogs after the wet week, so we didnt head out… but of course today brilliant sunshine .. so we went waddling with our basset friends 😍 xx

Another great waddle to be had.
The one old looking one, mostly white. Age?
They sure have some floppers for ears.🤣

Not sure on age 🤔 xx but yes the ears flop nd flap 😂 xx yes it is not pleasant when we cant dig… we have to talkto each other 😬 !!! 😂 xx but at least we have more fields to keep us amused now we are done with the shooting season!! xx 🤗

Pheasant is a big thing. Rabbits are also, but they might be open season, except Christmas Day.
The one Estate the club hunted on reared 5000 birds a year I heard at one time.

There's the fox hunts also, which is a interesting event to see.

There used to be traditional fox hunts in the bush near where I lived as a kid.
I saw a couple when we were out trapping rabbits and foxes. All dressed in the red and white and black n white, dogs and all. Freaked us out first time when we heard all these galloping noises and saw the fox run past.
Just like these but only about 10 dogs.

I was detecting and this big hound came running up, slammed on the brakes. Lifted his leg, pissed all over my knapsack, and kept on running.
The Estate owner rolled up with his Land Rover, apologized, offered to replace the knapsack.
I said don't worry it's waterproof 🤣
