Get better! Get Stronger!

About the same time you were in the hospital I mentioned my dad was also. Great spirits going in actually told the nurse when asked if he had any pain.... I'm Viking! :headbang:

Well being 95, and sepsis, kidney failure, got him. He has moved on.
My condolences OV.
Not great news regarding your dad. 🙏

On Sept 1st they didn't know what I had.
Even the RN today said there was notes of concerns about losing something.
Infection is scary shit.

Very sorry to hear that. Its hard saying goodbye to loved ones.
My best thoughts for you and the family.

The first chickens we got they used to follow me around detecting
Well until the Sussex grabbed the white porcelain button before I could. 🤣
Now that id like to see.
30 yrs ago we lived in a farmhouse right on the edge of the bush. Back when I had all my guns. We would just walk out the house with the guns and get rabbits and ducks. Sometimes I drove a bit into it to hunt on my own.
But when we would walk out sometimes there was my kelpie, fox terrier, a sheep and our ginger cat tagging along. 😆
It wasn't very inconspicuous admittedly but was a laugh.

Great Camouflage, the other critters just think nothing out of the ordinary. 😁

The cat was pretty tough and never came in the house, I fixed it a couple of times from fights with things at night. It knew if I got rabbits it got some like the dogs and would try to pinch bits I was chopping up on a log at the back of the house. I grabbed a bit when it once tried to sneak some and he, Puddy, wasn't happy. I carry the result of his wrath to this day. Mongrel cat.
From one side of my hand to the other like a razor blade he swiped me and cut me deep.
Still visible 30yrs on. That diagonal scar you see here.

He was a good at keeping the rats away though so dodged the bullet.

Our old Tom was mating with the farm cat up the hill.
The farm help put on his leather riding gloves.

"I pull him off her, just watch."

That I did, 1 hiss, 1 swipe, 1 riding glove leaking blood.🤣

"I guess we'll just let him finish his business."

Our Max likes to get a good sniff.
The one cat tolerates him, the other its a 1 sniff option.

2 sniff he gets wacked 6+times on the snout.

No claws, never any blood.
But a big whining session will be heard.
